My favorite is Psycho. We saw it at college on Old Movie Night and for weeks all us girls went to the showers together. It's still scary to me.

I'm not a fan of horror movies, but my favorie would have to be the original Scream. When it came out, it was such a departure from the normal horror movie formula. It was scary and funny, a win win combination. I can't wait to see the new one.

Let the Right One In is one of the best vampire movies I've ever seen. Let Me In is the U.S version, but trust me, you'll be better off reading subtitles in the original.

I can say that I'm not a big horror fan but I've been tempted into viewing certain features. Of those I have seen I have to say that Omen I or Omen II, I can't remember which. I do remember two scenes distinctly:

some woman on the side of the road gets attacked by birds and there's blood everywhere!
some dude in an elevator gets sliced in half by a cable when the elevator crashes.

*blinks*

Scarred for life. LOL.

Oh wow I love scary movies but if I would have to pick a favorite. I would say any of the hellraiser movies. Those movies are all so crazy. When I watched them with my mom when I was younger I didn't really understand until I watched then again when I got older. Good Times

I'm a HUGE fan of horror movies...so I have to say The Exorcist & the first Hellraiser...honorable mentions Nightmare on Elm St 3 & both versions of The Shining lol

Until Supernatural I never liked horror. Now I can dig it LOL I still don't like the senseless killings but the vamps, weres and fairy type thing are cool. I wrote one for the challenge.

Since I am originally from Amityville, NY I gotta love the "Amityville Horror" movies. I used to go by the house to see if the demons were there! And I think I saw one!

I was raised on the orginial Halloween movie, so I'd probably my favorite horror movie though Rocky Horror Picture Show is probably my favorite even if it really isn't a horror film per say, LOL.
