If an attrative guitarist with piercings and a cook was not great, a ghostly encounter was the chocolate whipped cream on top of the white hot chocolate. The connection between Kei and Eva is so thick you can cut it with a knife. I am becoming more addicted with each chapter. Your gift for detail is spot on.

Eva is fighting her feelings for a different reason. She does want him, but by her own rules. What she's really fighting is something she's not ready to deal with yet. Oh yes, Kei is going to wear her down, LOL. I'm really thrilled so many people are enjoying this. I'm rewriting each chapter trying to tighten them up because I plan to publish this. The infamous first meeting of the eccentric costume designer and the sexy rock star. Put them in a room and there will de destruction. I too would find my mind wondering if i was in here situation. i really liked her concept for domians end new look. Gothic rose tuxedos was definetly strike on with the song. loved every word and will continue to be hungry for more.

So...I was recommended to this story because as most people know I am a lover of all things BWAM related. Hahaha but I honestly was a little leery because I'm not into jpop/rock or visual Keith or anything. However I would like to tell you, I'm now hooked! Kei has that androgynous/vampiric vibe that is so sexy to me on the right guy. In my head I see him as kind of a long haired Japanese version of lestat or something. It's hard to explain. Yay, another BW/AM lover! When I started writing this for NaNoWriMo last year, Kei was indeed a Visual Kei guitarist (and some of those bands I really love, especially the harder stuff) but after a time, that didn't really suit the kind of story I wanted to tell. Making him and the band American fit better and that way, they can also misbehave in ways the more rigidly controlled Japanese artists wouldn't be able to. I love your description of Kei; I never really thought of it. He's modeled after Sugizo from Luna Sea/X-Japan with touches of the smouldering Atsushi Sakarai from Buck-Tick as well as Michael Romeo of Symphony X. I really am a huge metal fan and my significant other is in a metal band, so if I don't get it right, he'll let me know, LOL. Chapter seven is going up now. Thanks so much for reading.

you totally shocked me in a very good way with this. Here I was ready to tell you the difference between souxsie and the cruxshadows VS venom and slayer but i start reading then I'm like whoa this woman knows her stuff. the story itself is very interesting. i find myself liking Eva a lot because she reminds me of a very good friend of mine right down to her comfortable nature so please continue to write and and feed my growing anticipation.

A few weeks ago I was watching this series called 'Metal Evolution' and one of the influences a lot of the British metal bands mentioned was the blues, especially Robert Johnson and Howlin' Wolf. Metal really is amped up blues. Thank you for the feedback.

I have read quite a few stories on the chamber, but this one has become my new favorite. I was relieved to discover another person who loves heavy metal, asian men, and haunted houses. I like that the main character is eccentric. To put it simply, this story is pure sterling (because gold is not me).

When I first started writing this for NaNoWriMo, it was going to be more about the Visual Kei rock scene, but as I wrote, Kei just didn't want to fit in with the more tightly controlled music industry in Japan, so I made him Japanese-American and he just broke out in my mind. And yes, Eva is definitely out there in a good way, but that's how she wanted to be written. Granted, there's a bit of me in her when it comes to metal since it's one of my favorite genres and my significant other is a keyboardist for a metal band.

Very good read and I love the way you tell a story.
Kei is a very intriguing man to say the least... definitely sexy. Why am I picturing a midnight haired Sesshoumaru?? (I guess you'd have to know Inuyasha).
But I really like Eva too.
Reading your story, I can't tell if it's supposed to be part supernatural or not! lol, and I guess that's a good thing.

Thank you so much. It really is a work in progress and I've even changed some of the chapters that I've already posted. My biggest concerns are in the characters and in the plot. Kei is actually an amalgamation of several of my favourite metal musicians, including Michael Romeo of Symphony X, Sugizo of Luna Sea/X-Japan, Chachamaru of GacktJob, and John Petrucci of Dream Theatre, amongst others.
Eva is awesome, but I must confess that Kat and Dragon have grown on me a whole lot, LOL.
