Laila again has pissed me off, it was your behavior after the miscarriage that made Mark leave. Your acting like you were the only one who lost a baby. So it was you who should have made the first move to contact Mark!  Can you tell that I an salty with Laila right now?  After she breaks you off a piece Mark make her work to get back into your life. So good!

Sometime hard to express your truly feeling..I am cliff about the direction however, I love the story...Great update

I totally understand her hurt and why she is pushing him away but he should have never left! Then again, she probably checked out a long time ago

Wow this is really really short given the time it's been since the last update. It is intense but repetitious. I feel like it should have been in the flashback of chapter 5 - Leaving

When did they get married? I feel like I have mussed a major part of the story. Laila is stubbornly stupid! If they are really married why did they ask each other about family? Did Mark serve her divorce papers? Explain please!!

Laila is special! You the man is leaving you, so why ask the obvious? How about you offering an apology for drowning in your pain and not acknowledging his?

Laila is gun shy, why? I can't wait to find out more.

I like the chapter, I just wish it was longer. I love the couple and I like seeing his point of view.

Okay, so I read it when I got home.  What I really like about this story is the surreal passage of time and there is significant time that has gone by.  His decision to leave doesn't seem in any way to be over night.  Her grief seems real and, honestly, I love the surprise she experienced when she realized he was truly leaving.  I've found that when you are in that disoriented space of grief, depression, anger, hopelessness, etc. time is almost overwhelming and nonexistent. 

I look forward to seeing what happens next. 

Now re Forrest Griffin, that is one smart Georgia boy and while not conventionally handsome as you stated, he is so appealing to me too.  He was on UFC Tonight or something talking to one of his fellow fighters whose name I can't remember and they were talking abot movies.  The other guy was saying Forrest was always telling him to read the book, read the book!

I really like how you structured your story. It perfectly depicts one of the multiple evolutions of a relationship. From butterflies and excitement to detachment and loneliness in the presence of the loved one. Great job !
