I believe that Jamie loves him and truly needs him in her life but unknown to her,  she is approaching a crossroads that will change her life.   Will Jamie, who has been independent,  allow Mitch to be her support through this.  Her goal is to be a physician and in these upcoming months her life will be turned around.  Will she hide away in her studies.

I love Jamie and Mitch and that morning loving was hot. I want Jamie to contact her mother so that she can have some peace but not for the benefit of Paola . I think after her own mother abandoning her like that and not even try to get her back even though she got married and had another child is wrong and she doesn't deserve to have a relationship with Jamie cause that strong woman will always feel smaller and worthless with her mothers actions.The fact that she blamed her daughter for her messed up life in her mind, well that right there is cause to end her relationship with her mother on her own terms.

 

I want Jamie to have happiness and peace but that doesn't mean just cause you forgive a person you have to talk to them and have them in your life, that is a mistake that a lot of people make when family does them wrong. You forgive them for yourself so you can have peace and live a fulfilled life.

Thanks for the new chapter. This is a vey nice story. And I am grateful that there is no unnecessary angst-filled love drama. The stuff with Jamie's mother feels very realistic. I can't wait to read more about it.

I was a bit confused 'cause I thought I had missed their first time together, especially since it was said that Mitch had performance anxiety so I thought it would be addressed. But morning sex was pretty hot, there is no obligation to write a first time. As long as there is some hot and heavy stuff, I, for one, am good!

I really loved this chapter. Mitch, Alex and Jamie make a cute little family unit. Looking forward to the parents coming to visit. I hope his Dad falls in love with Jamie. Can't wait to see if and when his Mom notices that things have changed between Mitch and Jamie, and you know she will. Moms know EVERYTHING. hee

The ending was kinda a buzzkill, 'cause like Jamie, I wanted to luxuriate in the hotness that is Mitch and her. I was holding my breath when I started reading about the message, but, she did as I hoped, for now. She needs a respite before all hell breaks loose.

Well now. I find myself quite unsympathetic to the feelings of Paola. Depending how this is handled, this reunion might be all about Paola. And it's not. Yes, Roberto wants to take away the pain of his wife, but sorry, this ain't about Paola and her pain. It's about Jamie. Who was there to "build her up"? Who was there to make her feel better about herself? Sure as hell wasn't Paola. So, if this becomes about Paola and how she suffered, I'll know the selfish streak is still in effect. I could give a blue dilly f*ck about the sufferings of Paola. You feel guilty? That's the least you could feel.

I enjoy this story and I'm so glad you updated.

Uh ohhhh! This is going to be one big ass bomb targeting Jamie. I hope for the best but honestly I don't know what this could do. How can a woman blame and dump a beautiful little girl in a world without her mama to guide her. I could sleep a wink knowing my baby was without me. SMH, Paola has SOO much to make up for, I only hope Jamie can get through it. Damn, just when the two love birds were breaking ground.

I'm sorry, you can cry all you want to.  That was a selfish act and you don't deserve to have forgiveness handed to you because you want it.   She should feel bad and feel remorse.  Then you will show up years later with a new husband and child you have been caring for.  Nawww, that is not cool.  Once you grew up, that was the time to find your child, not when she is about to be 23yrs old.  You would never be considered in the role of mother with her, poss in the future an, ya know what, I don't know.  Let  me get my math right.  You have been married for 10 yrs and have a 5yr old son, so you could have searched for her when she was thirteen or even when she was eighteen but nothing because of your guilt.  And thats what it is, her guilt kept her from being a grown ass woman and finding her child to make amends.  No, you are going to have to grovel for a long time for me especially when you have a family and living well, while I am attempting to work my behind off for mine.  Sorry, honey, no can do

Sorry I can't personally forgive the mother.

She didn't even leave her with someone who just walks away like that. Tears don't make up for something like that.

Anything could have happened to her.

If she found a way to Brazil she could have found the same way for her child or made arrangements to come back for her, not leave her by herself she's lucky her child is still alive. 

She can never return to the story and it would be fine better for me.
