Title: Chapter 27

Good job Natalia, for standing up for what was right.  I am glad that she was able to recognize that the discord that was in their family came from her and Nikolai and not Dmitri.  It will take time but, I hope that the family will be able to move past this and destroy the facade of being a happy family be that in actuality.

While I would have loved to see Nik tired ass read for filth I can see the 

growth and maturity in the main characters as more pressing. ; )

That was a great chapter and it could have gone in several directions. I enjoyed the tense moments because with so many diverse characters you really couldn't predict who would take a stand.

Nikolai is an asshole, Natalia is full of shitsky she loves Dimitri like a son. BITCH YOU BROKE HIS FAMILY!!!!  I am glad that Nadia and Dominic finally spoke up so that Dimitri doesn't feel so alone anymore.  Nikolai is sick right now because karma has come back around to bite his evil ass!!  Natalia was right by about one thing Dimitri doesn't need them, hell he would be much better off without their insanity. I will hate to see this story end!!  I give this chapter two thumbs up!!!

Wow... The man has a heart after all. I was so sure this family dinner would be over and done, I am really surprised at how it went. Well, some of it, LOL! I just love Sasha and Dmitri's bond, I can't wait for the next chapter.

I feel privileged to have watched your writing skills grow over the course of this story.  I am always happy to read another chapter and look forward to the next one.  

I'm also glad Dmitri didn't let Natalia manipulate him or rewrite the past.  He kept it real.  Sure, it seems harsh, but doing so let him keep a fresh perspective on his priorities - Sasha.

I think the way this story has progressed is good...very good! In fact, the fact that you are not rushing the story is GREAT and I love how you have allowed each character to mature and change for the better! I hate to see the story end.

Hmmm, I am on the fence about Sasha going to his family dinner.  I think Dmitry needs her there for support in facing his father again vs the test to their relationship.  I also don't know what I want from him and his dad's relationship.  I wonder if his dad pushed him so hard because he was punishing him for his transgressions with Natalia.  Curious if his dad feels guilty about the affair with Natalia.  How the hell does Natalia know if their relationship was superficial.  What, because HE told you, did she have a conversation with the wife of the man she was sleeping with.  Why wouldn't he think she was a gold digger when she hasn't shown anything else to him.  YOU slept with a married man who had a child.  Even if you weren't thinking about the wife, what about the child.  You came in like a tornado and the next thing he knows is his mom is dad and he has two siblings etc.  Hell nawl, to a kid who is being pushed harder and harder everyday and his mom, who he adored is dead, bish you the enemy, period.  Stop trying to act like you didn't know.  Can't wait for next chapter, sequel, just everything.
