Girl!!!!!! I was thinking the same thing f*ck Mildred Baxter, but Camille has a heart and she would save her mother. I would do what i have to do for Mildred and then let go and let God!!!!. I like the way they explained Savi's background and how the family began.

Steven is in college and he's in a interracial relationship, my how this young man has evolved. Steven, Hiram and Savannah should write to Hirams mother and Steven parents in prison, and let them know what they tried to do didn't break them it only made them into the family they are today and send them pictures of the family. Hiram's mother probably will have a heart attack, Steven's mother probably will have a nervous breakdown and Steven father probably will try to commit suicide. Camille and Hiram should let their children know that love could come out of hate and that they are a living testimony to the whole ugly past. Thanks for the update MP

I loved this story from beginning to end. 

Man this story has been on my mind, I even had a dream about It. I just can't fathom a mother that carried a child for 9 months not wanting her because of her skin color. Then this same mother needs someone to help save her life and the only option could be the child you didn't want. I understand how Camille being a nurse could feel guilted into saving her mothers life she's human and she's a nurturer. Maybe It's the hormones talking being that I'm pregnant but I can't see myself laying down on my side while someone stick a needle in my pelvis for someone who thought I was beneath her and her family. If I were feeling generous I would let them take a Peripheral Blood Stem Cell donation where they take It through my blood. I wondering was Eugene even Camille's father, maybe Camille came out so dark because she was someone else's child.Maybe mama was a rolling stone, where ever she spread her legs was her home., maybe Camille was a reminder of her sin's.
