Nathan is acting more and more frantic, at this point, Yani must get the clue that his actions can't be explained by anything else but his attraction to her. And, considering the danger, isn't Yani supposed to use a false name ? I can't wait to know why Nathan didn't attend his bestfriend's wedding, and more important, I don't know if I've missed something, but I'm really eager to read more about how Yani met Malcolm, and her feelings for him, or their short married life from an inner point of view.
Finally, like another reader said, Maddie is suspicious, even when you meet someone and want to know her/him, you don't ask that kind of questions, and too many at once at that ! So I really hope I'm mistaken too and that she's a real new friend.

Thank you for your review. Your questions have got me thinking. Remember, Yani isn't the objective here, not as far as Nathan's superiors are concerned. So she's in hiding, but in plain sight as they want to draw out their real target.
Its interesting to know what further insights you would like to see with regard to the characters back stories, while I can't promise anything at the moment, hopefully what I do reveal will be satisfying!

Maddie's background is conveniently clean, yeah I still don't trust her. Malcolm was drugged and beaten how awful! Nathan didn't attend their wedding, how telling. Nathan is right of his accessment of Yani, she is poised to run and get herself killed. All because of her anger with Nathan. Nathan isn't using you but he is definitely in love and can't admit it to himslf.

i hope Maddie ends up being someone Yani can trust and not one of the bad guys. Yani seems like she desperately needs a friend right now.
I'm anxious to know the circumstances surrounding Malcom's death. Who killed him and why is Nate feeling responsible for Yani even though he keeps her at arms length?

Yani, I think there are many reasons that Nathan won't look at you. The least of which is his feeling of guilt. I think he has feelings for her and that brings his own brand of guilt.

HHoq long wete Yani and Malcolm married? Why was he murdered? Were Malcolm and Nathan police officers anf Malcolm got killed over a cases they wete working? Why can't Yani see how attracted Nathan is to het? Team Nathan!! For some strange teason Yani is working last nerve.
