I knew Max had a little crush on Adele. Now Gabriel see's Adele's light shines for everybody. Gabriel wanted Adele to change on the outside, before he could see her inside. Adele needs Gabriel to change on the inside, before she can see him on the outside. Girl this story is deep.

I must say, I love how this is developing. Hump is a dope. Addy uses her head for more than a hat rack, for sure. Northridge lost a gem when she left. They all will slowly realize that.

I'm interested in Gabe's journey. He has a LOT to learn and acknowledge. And his company has some bumpy days ahead. They don't seem to know who Max is. btw, I've got a crush on Max. Clearly a man who sees people as people and not as some f'in' label. It would due Gabe well to develop a relationship with Max. He could learn a few things. Max told him straight up and you need at least one person in your life who won't sugarcoat and condone your bad behaviour.

Well done, Chica. Take your time. Your pacing is great.

Gabe must have feelinf quite beside to himself to go to Max about Adele.  I would just live for Adele to tell Gabe exactly what he did to her or rather what he said.  He won't understand until he knows how thise words overheRd had affected her. He needs to understand,  hell he's an American who had to familiar with racism both hidden and overt.   I find it telling that he had empathy for Suriander but not Adele a sister.  I am trying to like Gabe but he's being slow on the uptake is working ny nerve!  Love Max, he is cool peeps!! He deserves the love of an exceptional woman!

Gabriel at least finally acknowledges his privilege. And Max is right that Gabriel has done a lot to hurt Adele. The change in Gabriel needs to be major and clearly visible in order for Adele to even remotely consider a relationship with him. I'm glad he's seeing the error of his ways, but his response to the fallout from Humphrey's actions with Adele will be most felling. I want to see if Gabriel can be redeemed in my eyes. Excited to see what comes next!

Go Adele! Humphrey just hung himself and exposed the racism of Northfield. He also reminded Adele of her reason for caution in pursuing a relationship with Gabriel. Because of Gabriel making the comments that Adele was a token minority, people would view their relationship as Adele using sex to get her position. And Adele would always wonder if that was true about Gabriel. Good chapter! Can't wait to see the fall out!

What? You gave in that fast???  The body reacts to physical stimulation, even if the subject isn't the slightest bit interested. If you sit two strangers, a hetro male and female, in chairs facing each other, forcing them to look each other in the eye for a significant period of time, they will experience feelings at the end of it. So kissing him, the ass wipe who hasn't said he was wrong for everything he ssid, shouldn't erase how awful he was.  Ugh.
