I love that the girls on campus saw Nick take Alicia's book bag and hold her. She deserves to feel like the special one. He is just so sweet to her. I'm glad, considering Kandice is still around somewhere. Nice chapter.

OMG, for a minute I thought that Alicia really was going to do the smart thing and kick Kandice out of her world. Why does such a nice girl have a cousin and mother who are so ridiculous? I love the way Nick was an anchor for her when her own mother was not. Kandice is like a virus. This was a good chapter.

Ming is a hot mess. Maybe if she wasn't so judgmental her marriage would be in better shape. Kudos for dad, he stepped up on behalf of his son. If Momma Ming don’t watch it, she may end up losing her family.

OMG the mother is a trip. She didn't care he would cheat it was all about color for her.
I am glad his father isn't as bad as I thought at the beginning of this story. I am glad he checked his wife because if I was alicia and she came out talking that mess to me I would break my foot off in her butt. Even though Alicia would because she is to kind hearted.

Their marriage was probably that of an arranged marriage.
I hope the father survives his heart attack and can get away from that racist witch Ming.

I love Alicia's Nana...she seems to be the only one in her family who truly loves and appreciates the real beauty in Alicia...Nanas are so special...and she's a mess, too...sounds like Nana still likes to get her groove on...

Ah! So we have drama of father being in the hospital from a heart attack and now mom is meeting Alicia for the first time under these situation.
Nick already knows that he family will not approve due to a tradition sense of them wanting him to marry chinese.
I can't wait to see Mom's reaction to Alicia.
I love Nana she knows that her other grand daughter is a straight up mess at least Alicia have some family on her side and Nana is still getting her freak on LOL!!!
