This is a great chapter, a very hot chapter. And I like Xavier because of how he helps make Dove feel*. But he really needs to tell her about the book. It would've been best if he'd told her before they got busy. Now that the deed is done, she will feel betrayed if he tells her. But you did say that betrayal would feature in this story.
Sorry to put a damper on things. It's just what was in the back of my mind while I read the chapter.
*I say helps because it seems like Dove's awakening started while she was writing the book, long before she met or even knew of Xavier. She was probably going to have this discovery sooner or later. Meeting Xavier just made it sooner.

I know cheating is bad but I really don't like Dove any less for doing what she's doing. In fact, I'm proud that she's finally living the way she wants to and doing the things she wants to even if its only temporary. Xavier is just too hot for words. Can't wait to see what happens next.

That was just sexy, I am waiting for her tell Shon to get to stepping and to her family "kiss my grits". These people have been keeping down all of life and then Shon took over when she married him. Xav was not ready for Dove by any means. She's got him all twisted. A little oral stimulation has rocked his world. Can you imagine what will happen if and when they sleep together. She'll have him stuttering.

I so love this story, I like how Dove is evolving and I hope that she retains that new found confidence. She is involved in far too many toxic relationships, her marriage and her brothers. She needs to kick all of them to the curb and enjoy her new found confidence and joy in a new city and have love for the very first time. Becasue X definitely loves her but he doesn't know it yet. Love it!!
