I'm seriously in love this story in more ways than one. It is truly a favorite. You have done an outstanding job with the imagery and evoking emotion. I can possibly not wait to see what you have in store for us next. Thank you for sharing.

uhm, so yeah. i needs me an update ASAP. that was . . . woo! at first, i honestly did not know how to feel about Dove - wait, no, that's a lie, could barely stand her. loved her in the first chapter, adored her really, but when she got around her husband it was like her brain was gone. then again, she was very aware that she'd settled. still didn't appreciate the way her husband and her brothers talked to her and she allowed it. (btw, you have Shon down as William a couple times in chapter 3, i believe.)

but i am too glad i came back to this.

there's a fire in Dove that is not just sexual, obviously. she's much stronger than she allows to be, a part of her that she willingly suppressed for her settled life. her willingness to help works against her in some ways, but she is just like most women with a heart so damn big . . . it almost hurt to read about the sacrifices she'd made and how ungrateful, bratty, and unsupportive the males in her family are.

her first encounter with Xavier, in lesser hands, would have been implausible, considering the differences in the characters. but, you, lady, have done a wonderful, seamless job. i love what they seem to bring out in one another, no matter how soon it may seem. very well done. and i like Dove, i really do. that real part of her is wonderful and i can't wait to see more.

[round of applause] why am I just now finding this story? Just... wow. I love it! [side eyes her brothers and husband to hayell]. This last chapter had me fanning myself! I kept tring to scroll but realized that that was the end of the chapter. [shame] Anywhoo I'll be patiently waiting for the next chapter!

And poor Dove, shouldn't you be able to be as open and honest with the person who is supposedly the closest person to you, your husband? Dove has repressed who she is and that will eventually make her either leave her husband or slowly go insane.

Wow, I'm really loving your story.  Nora is complex and deeply thoughtful and I love how she stuck to her guns around her work. 

It would be easy to dismiss Xavier as shallow but that's quickly dispelled in this chapter.

Can't wait to read more!

So he is going to go after Dove, interesting.  I want Dove to come into herself and divorce the husband that doesn''t love her.  I don't get the sense that she loves him either.  Great chapter, I am glad that Dove developed some back bone.  Maybe it bleed into her everyday life.  At least I hope so.

I really think this trip will be good for Dove. I would think that her family would be a little bit more supportive instead of bringing her down like they do and if it wasn't her family, then especially the person she's married to. Its good she has her friend to support her and give her encouraging words. Can't wait to see how things go.
