This is a great story to read.  Your writing style is real and straight to the point.  I like the way you make your characters accountable for their actions.  So keep it real as you are now and next chapter please.

I had forgotten about this story. I'm glad you're back. Poor Marva, life isn't being kind to her. Disliked Ronnie but he didn't deserve that. Fantastic chapter!

I thought this was nice introduction to your characters.  Usually it ignores me to have pov switched back and forth between characters so much, but you seem to carry it off nicely.  I think this will be a very interesting story and I look forward to seeing where you go with this. 

Great job,can't wait to find out what's going on with Marva. Rick is a good guy I'm glad things are turning around for him.But I don't want him to fallin love with Samantha. Marva better hurry up and pull herself together before someone take her man,cause Rick is hot others girls are starting to notice it.

Well now... Rick is venturing into getting a little experience. While this won't change what he feels for Marva, it's good for him to get to know different kinds of women. I like the convo between him and Sam. Hopefully, it continues to be an honest relationship. Sam will be able to teach him some things about woman, whereas, Marva was still a girl. I'm really interested in seeing what has transpired in Marva's life in the mean time. I like that you're showing what's going on with Rick. This is his story as much as it is Marva's. Love this.

I'm glad that Rick is moving on. I hope that he will forget about Marva. She is a heartless bitch who only cares about what other people are thinking. I didn't feel sorry at all for what had happened to her. I know that it may sound harsh, but its the truth. She is a selfish bitch who didn't care about Rick's feelings.

Rick deserves better. Samantha seems like a nice girl.

i like this story ..took me a bit to start reading it because i hate getting into a fic within a few chappies and it taking forever to see an update, but i like what you have going here i can't wait to see how things turn out with Marva. how her life has been going since that awful night. i find myself really not feeling sorry for her and wondering if i'm a mean person but hey the way she treated Rick was really messed up and i knew in the back of my mind that she would end up in some kinda trouble prom night ..great fic really can't wait to read more ..cyn~

Thanks for the update, it was GOOD... I'm glad that Rick is getting settled in college, and its funny that Lamar is his roomate, and to hear how he really feels about Amber is FUNNY... I might have missed it, but I wonder what she did to Marva.

I like Samatha, she seems like she would be a good friend for Rick, and she knows that he is still not over Marva.

I can't wait to see how Marva is doing.

Great update.  Poor Rick at least he talked about his dad suicide to Marva.  I wa surprised that she kept asking questions about his dad.  As for the school bully Ronnie I can see that he is going to be a problem.  To bad know one has kicked his behind.  Thanks
