I'm so curious now. Who is Mina really? What is really going on? This chapter was too short. more please!

I get that Mina is young but her reaction to Lucas & Gabe conversation, proves she may not exactly be ready for what she wants with Lucas.  Both deciding to run, then somehow showing her independence by staying but leaving Lucas without a "real" valid reason is immature.  She's angry because he wants to protect her, yet he has no idea what her real name is....come on really?  Like her foster mother Christina, the girl needs a reality check.  Some things you don't do when you are in a relationship or apart of a family one of those things include jumping to conclusions without really knowing all the information. 

Maybe Lucas should give the girl a few more years to grow up a bit cause I don't think she's ready for an adult realationship, she's too stuck on the fantasy of what dreamed they would be like together, instead of dealing with the reality of an adult realationship. It's hard work and if she ready to bail after one day then maybe she just isn't ready.  Feeling awfully bad for the complete 180, Lucas is about to experience.

Intriguing update! I read Chapter 6 and wondered why didnt Mina just talk, argue and stood her ground with Lucas and let him know what she wanted or should I say what she needed. The thing is, the man worships the ground she walks on, so why wouldnt he listen to her? Or better yet he is willing to bury that part of himself that he thinks will break her, so why was she going to run instead of calling him out on his misconceptions. Glad she decided to stay and is excited to see what happens next. However, I suspect that either she or Christina has set something in motion that would have a profound effect on them all.

See, it appears our little Mina likes to get down like that too! All Luke has to do is talk to the girl. It's going to be something that they share. I guess that was Gabe's point to Luke. Communicate with your woman!

I am glad she's moving out though, and for all the reasons she herself mentioned. It's time. However, I don't want her to be reckless with her life just to prove a point.

He had expected more of a fight, but perhaps she hadn’t truly understood the consequences that reaching out would entail.  This was going to be interesting.  Entertaining.  But no matter how it happened, it would finally end.  There was no turning back now.

Now what makes me think this is in response to Christina's call and not Mina's?

His mother should stop being so conniving. Mina isnt a little girl anymore. And you cant always protect her. But Gabe is right Lucas should have just told her instead of her having to find out. I wonder just how far she is going to go to prove to the Spauldings she is her own person. I sense drama coming.

I don't think Mina is thinking rationally by trying to leave. Lucas won;t let her get too far anyways because he will be watching her like a hawk.

Gabe definitely needs his own story! I think he was looking out fer Mina more as a brother than a love interest.

I hope Christina's husband figures out who Christiana called. I think it may be Mina's biological father. Who knows? 

There is a lot of plotting going on but I hope things don't fly to far off the handle.

Wow, Gabe, Luke, and Mama Spaulding have all failed to understand who Mina is to one degree or another. But I suspicion that they're about to find out. My major fear is that Christina has unleashed something that will hurt Mina more than Luke could ever do so. I hope Randall finds out about his wife's activities. It's clear she's seeing things thru a warped prism. She's actually not seeing Mina at all, but herself. How could she not see that Luke has been quite honorable in regards to Mina? If he finds out that his own mother is behind the shit storm that's coming. Christina will be in a world of hurt. I wonder if Papa Spaulding is a DOM, since it seems all of the boys are. hmm
