Not flat at all. Julien has some meat to him now; the beginnings of a conscience. He seems completely unredeemable, but I think he might want to try as the story progresses. He says no, but...

Thea's whole dynamic with her family needs to be explored to its fullest. There is serious storyline potential there. Also, with the two families as well.

I like it.

Your characters were flat in the first few chapters, but are now taking shape, esp this time, as we get to understand their motivations. keep up the good work. only thing to watch out for is spelling :)

So Thea unwittingly caught Julien sexual attention, this should be interesting.  I am waiting for Thea to break her foot off in Julien's behind!!  I don't think that your characters are one demensional.  I already have a clear picture of each character when I read.  So now I am wondering what happened to make them behave as they do.  Julien is ho from way back!!

I like your story and don't fall for the "advice" to make your characters and language more complex for the sake of being wordy, because then your voice will not be authentic--it won't be yours--and remember that your story is your story, be true to your characters and your muse and when it flows for you that's all that counts, we're just along for the ride:)

You have me curious about the backstory for these 2, patiently waiting for the update:)

I like your story.  Bill Cosby once said that the road to failure was trying to please everybody.  Someone will always have an opinion contrary to where you want to take this story.  Constructive criticism is good, but follow your muse. Now with that out of the way....

Julien seems to have always gotten his way, especially with women.  Thea is his new challenge and I hope that he falls hard for her WAY BEFORE she falls for him.  LOL.  Let the chase begin!

I bet there is more to this 'arranged' marriage than meets the eye and the situation with Thea's friend tht Julien hurt has to be dealt with. 

This story has so much promise, and I eagerly await to see where you take us on this ride.

I wouldn't be surprised that Julien purposely set up that sex session so that Thea could catch him to make her jealous.  I think he is feeling something for Thea but she won't give him the time of day so he will try everything to mess with her head.  I hope Thea stays strong because Julien is a sexy manwhore.

I still love it.  Thea needs a guy interested in her besides Julian.  He's got options and she should have some too.  Does he have a hot long lost brother or does she have a hot client crushing on her.  Not trying to cause trouble, just even up the score.

That shit was funny as hell!!!  Did he forget about the Thea was moving or just didn't care and wanted to get is nut one final time?  With the amount of hate that Thea feels towards Julian the sex will be explosive!!
