I don't understand Terri reaction! Years ago while she was so tender hearted she could get reid of the jerome guy and now that she is such a bitter and stronger person she is scared ?

Buy a dog , have security alarm installed; record any threat or conversation on your phone, go to the police have a restraint order and then it's done ?!!!

Great chapter. I do think Daniel's family timing is way off. He was homeless and no one was looking for him and now that he's famous, they want their son/brother back?
I think he should proceed cautiously though he should forgive them. There is no use holding hate and grudges. If they really are sorry for their past behavior, then they should do all they can to make it up to him, especially his father.

It's good to have at least one person in your life that knows you well. In Terri's case, Daniel probably saved her life becase he knew she wasn't acting right. I'm glad she is getting over the stereotypical relationship hangup. An older woman dating a younger man is becoming as acceptable as homosexuality. She should relax and enjoy her relationship with her knight in shining armor. It's better than hooking up with some old guy and he's telling you how he would have worn that thing out ten years ago, while you're changing his pamper and he's spitting on you becasue his teeth are in a cup soaking on the nightstand by the hospital bed...lol

Thank you for creating complex characters who walk through life's struggles together. I find myself mad at Terri but feeling sorry for her all at once.
Ps - you had me at Ian. I don't know if I love this character because of my crush or because he's so lovable. Great story!

It's not over and that crazy fool Jerome ain't done. They really need to make police report. Jerome used her and gave her an STD yet is angry at him for getting him beat up. He stalked and plotted only to force her to have dinner with him by gun point. Jerome needs to do and quickly!! I like the explaination for his actions as it just proves how psychotic Jerome is. I like how Daniel followed Terri and saved her but the question is for how long?

I like this story and was happy to see there is an update. Now about this new chapter, I got to say I am a bit...disapointed. Firts, I don't understand Terri's reaction when she firts see Jerome : ok the guy was an ass, trying to live off on her and all, but it was more pathetic than anything else, and there was never any indication that he had beviolent or anyting. So bad experience 20 years earlier, I get that. But for her to be so worked up, and paralysed, and all that shit is a bit of an overreaction. Then, the "twist" with Jerome who turns complete psycho- stalker and "threaten" her 2 minutes after meeting her again, and she just...caves like that. WTF? She just up and agreed to go out with a man who she as not seen for 20 years and who threaten her (of what, it is not even clear). She beavec too stupid for her age and her social statut. Sh eis not an helpless 20 years old. This doesn't make any sens, it is beyond ridiculous, like drama for the sake of drama.

Excuse me but what the fu-...what the FREAK just !!?! Terri didn't do a dayum thing to that asshole...all his problems we're his fault not hers- but I know losers like Jerome- losers who try to mooch off of vulnerable ppl and drain them dry.
