I feel so bad for Lisa, both of her parents are evil!  Why are they treating Lisa like she is a piece of property?  If you could run over Tonya with Mercedes, tractor trailer, or yugo would be greatly appreciated.

Her family is completly unbelievable.  They are literally sacrificing her like she is a piece of meat.  I do not care who they are.Will she give in and be forced to marry not only a man that is older than her she does not love him.  To her parents it is nothing but business deal andLisa is expected to go along with it.

  They are both a mess.  People usually put up walls to hide their feeling or in this case schoolwork and dance class.  At least he was there in her tome of need instead of ignoring her. This should be a moment of realization and and a moment to reconcile.  Ignoring the problem will never make it go away.

  I can understand Jae Hwa's anger, but Lisa also has her own issues to deal with.  I know that she feels trapped and the only person she can confide in in keeping her out.  They are both hurt and yet it seems that no one cares and writed it off.

I don't mean to sound nit picky but as a med student wouldn't his hands be smooth? I mean if especially he wanted to be a surgeon or something his hands are his livleyhood. If he were to ever do anything that could potentially damage his hands I suspect he'd wear gloves. Idanno just something I thought about since I'm an artist and I go crazy when I feel like I'm doing something that could do damage to my hands. Even just them being dry is seriously a thing with me and some of the other visual artist I know. Other than that I really like this so far and will keep reading.

I'm glad you like the story, but I'm not sure where the med student part is coming from. If something like that is implied, then that was a complete accident because it isn't a part of the story. Sorry!

They miss each other. I think Lisa should tell Jae what's going on with her family so he won't be in the dark. Maybe they should talk about what both families expect if them and hopefully they can figure something out before gets too late and there's too much distance between.

The last time these two parted, Jae Hwa had made a personal promise to only focus on three main things in life, and Lisa wasn't one of them, but obviously he falls to temptation as he has programmed himself to walk past the places where she is only to see just a glimpse of her back. So his being there at that particular moment wasn't a part of the plan he has been "attempting" to follow for himself...He told me that he didn't want to be there when she woke up and have to face the awkwardness of being in the same room
