Me likey!! I can tell hrr momma is going to work my nerve!! Her father seems cool though.  I like how you have introduced your main character.  I hope that she doesn't continue to do dumb like opening the door without asking who is it or looking at them out the side glass. I know that the story just start but be more descriptive. What does she look like? What does her rented house look like?:
