Title: The Gun in the Bun

Thoughts? My thoughts are when are you going to update this story?!? You've taken these characters and made them into people whose story I want to read more of. You've answered so many questions about them and at the same time made me want to know. I hope you update this soon. Like yesterday.

Title: Alone

And now you've got Loki reading poetry. You're killing me here. Killing me! And now, here comes Noni's turn. Dinner is going to be late tonight and it's all your fault - I want you to know that.

Title: Long Live The King

I can't believe you have me feeling all kinds of sympathy for Loki. I should be doing other things, but I have to keep reading to see what happens next.

Title: Flashing Lights

So why did you have to go and make me have some sympathy for Danny now. I don't wanna!

Loved the flashbacks, well done in fleshing out your characters. Brooklyn in the house  ::fist pump::

More and more of a great story.

Title: Just a Taste...

So.. Noni just rolled with the free groceries? Oh well, like she said, in this economy, I guess you got to do what you got to do!

Of course a god doesn't do dishes with his hands - loved envisioning this!

Title: Granny Smith Apples

Loki really is a bad boy - what is Noni going to do when she figures out he got everything for free!

I'm sitting here with a big grin on my face after reading this chapter.

Title: Snow

Love Terrence's version of "hello" - and Loki's mental response LOL

I could picture that scene with them standing in the snow.

And I now I feeling all kinds of sad for Loki.

Another excellent chapter!

Title: Chocolate

I love how easily you woven in Loki's otherworldliness - especially about the part about the god-weight and the chair - excellent wordcraftiness going on there - into the story so seamlessly. But Noni is taking all of this news a whole lot more calmer than I would have ;)

Danny needs to step - he's outgunned here. Too bad he doesn't know that yet and when he does, it will probably be the hard way.

Congratulations on crafting is a very entertaining read.

Poor Noni. I like the relationship that Noni and Loki are making. Both are wounded and it's great they found each other.

Title: The Gun in the Bun

Intense may be the best way to discribe her story.  No one shuld suffer the way she did.  Life has made her tougher and slightly closed off.  Some like Loki is just what she needs, no other man would be able to understand her.  Noni is not some naive easy woman, like Loki she has her own skeletons.  What happened to Shanice was not her fault.  Her friend would want her to live on.

Author's Response:

Yeah, she and Loki are both pretty closed off, and a lot of it has to do with self-esteem. Loki always sensed he was different and was often ridiculed because of it. Noni's experiences have made her shy away from the est of society. And Shanice may not have had the best ideas, but she just wanted her and her best friend--her sister, to live a better life than they had when they were growing up. She thought money would give them that life...she didn't take the dangers into consideration. That was partly because she was so young, but also because she never really had maternal guidance to tell her better. Noni was there, but she didn't really have TOO much hands-on maternal guidance. Of course her grandmotehr was there, but then she died. The lessons she learned from her grandma while she was alive are things she remembers to this day. I think if she had had her around longer, or a protective mother around, a lot of her pain could have been avoided.

Noni had such a hard life and she allowed Shanice to get her into a shady situation.  I am so sorry that her stupidity got her killed. Noni is a strong woman.  Me likey!!!

Author's Response:

Yep, she's a fiesty lil' mama. I think that's one of the things that Loki finds so arractive about her. She isn't afraid to butt heads with him, even though he could overpower her at the drop of a dime. And I'll touch upon the Shanice subject more in the next chapter. ;) Thanks so much for your continued support of my story. You guys make it so much more fulfilling to write it.

Title: Not Quite Dead

Wow great chapter! This revelation was amazing. There was a lot of build up to what secrets Noni might be carrying and this explanation did not disappoint. Very intense and moving.

Your writing flowed really well and the charaters seem very real in this chapter. Even though Loki is a god and Noni's been through some bad sh**; you can really feel their connection.

Also I appreciated who you added the line about that was the reason she didn't really go for Danny. That answered that question nicely and it makes total sense why she would be weary of a guy who was aggresively persuing her. Man! I just want to give her a hug, for real. Cray-cray stuff has happened to her. Also very nice length to this one. :) Great job, keep up the good work!

-p2p-

Author's Response:

Thanks a lot. I think although they are so different, as are their circumstances, they can really relate because they grew up under awkward circumstances.

And Noni had become exceedingly paranoid about  men. But seeing a man fall from the sky and look so utterly lost really made her conenct to him initially. I think she could instantly relate when she saw that pained look on his face. It's a look she knew all too well.

Danny may or may not be well-intentioned towards her. If he is, he should probably have toned it down a bit. If he isn't, maybe his behavior is fitting.

I pulled deep to word this one! I'll try my best to write as much as possible. But sometimes I post less because I have less time in-between to write and I don't want to keep youse guys waiting TOO long.

And you owe me an email, lady!

My thoughts consist of "DAMN!". Loki can't complain noooooo more about his life.

Author's Response:

Lmao. Nope, he sure can't. Not without looking like an ass in comparison.

Title: Alone

It seems that Loki is not the only person with inner demons, talk about irony.  These two were made for one another.  When they are together they are happy and at peace, their inner demons are dormant.  Noni is the one that accepted his flaws knowing that she has plenty of her own.  The fact thar she can understand him and sees a kindred spirit in him and someone who is strong enough to take care of her.

Things are becoming intense in a good way.  For the record, this story is not all sunshine these are beings that face obstacles.

Author's Response:

They really do seem to connect in a way that they haven't been able to with others. For now, I think they are on the road to making peace with their past. Though it's not all sunshine, the sunlight does help illuminate the shadows.

Wow girl you are a powerful writer, I dayum near cried when Noni revealed Shanice was ganged-raped.  So sad.  I saw Thor on netfix I had to see it again moreso Loki every since I stared reading this masterpiece.  This was a powerful chapter Thanks so much for writing this I love it!

Author's Response:

MASTERPIEC? You really think so? Thank you so much! That really means a lot in the way of validation. I've never published a story before this, not to the masses. ^_^

And yeah, I really, really love Loki's character, flaws and all. That's what makes him so dynamic and interesting.

Title: The Gun in the Bun

Heavy but good. That is really too bad about Shanice.  It must hav a real eye-opener for her to find out the man she was obviously falling in love with (Reese) was not what she thought or hoped for...but did he really have to kill her?  Both Shanice and Noni had some really tought lives.  I am glad that Noni moved on...but I wonder if any of those traffickers are still after her.  If so, I would like to see them try with Loki around. Now that would be entertaining. LOL.

Nyeesha

Author's Response:

I wouldn't exactly say falling in love, per se. I would just say that she found a guy that treated her the way she desprately wanted to be treated--like a princess. The way he lavished money and attention on her made her happy because she never experienced that growing up. She grew up poor. And remember, he wasn't who he seemed to be. I don't think he killed her considering she bit him where it hurt. I doubt he could have done much after that, especially considering he died shortly afterward. But the other men involved with her rape probably killed her.

As for that last part...who knows? ;P

I'm enjoying this story.  I waited to start because I'm not really into Loki, but I started, I'm on chapter 4 and I'm loving it.

Yay! Welcome to the Loki Side. :P

But really, I am glad you're enjoying it. Tell me what you think when you're caught up. :)

I love this story so much!!!!!!!!! They have lost in common they have shell and can sometimes be misunderstood... But girly changed for the better. Loki is starting to change as well.

Author's Response:

Thank You! Yeah, I just think he needed someone around to set a good example for him. He's never really had that.

Title: Alone

Personally, I've never been a fan of Loki but I feel like you just made him "human" for me. Awesome story! You definitely have a way with words. Please, oh pretty please don't make us wait too long!!

Author's Response:

Yes! Another convert! Lol, but yeah, Loki takes some getting used to. He has so much mystery about him that it's hard to pinpoint just who he is as an individual. Sure his actions show a lot, but what is the motivation behind him? No one starts out as purely evil, it takes a lot to get them to that point--a backstory. Dunno if you read the next chapter yet, but it's heavy.
