Thank you for the update. Oh, Lee...I know losing weight, can be sometimes difficult, but if you want to do it, you must go through the difficulty and get on with it.
The doctor, as brutal as he was, is correct, you are obese. It's certainly not something you want to hear, but it's something that you need to face. Mum, is doing you no favours by pretending otherwise. The Doc was brutal and straight to the point, because that is where you are at and too many times things get lost in the mind, if it's sugar coated.Your self esteem has certainly been lost along the way. Your weight and self worth are most definitely correlated and it's heart breaking. The more your weight goes up, the more your self worth and esteem goes down.
You remind me of my older step sister, Ria...she's was 5'9 and 240lbs. She felt like crap and most certainly treated herself as such. She was very promiscuous (not intentionally, we realized she just wanted someone, anyone outside of the family to love or at least want her). It took years of this toxic behaviour, and the family finally acknowledging it, to get her to realize what was happening. My sister who became a psychiatrist...pointed it out and made us all (Ria, included) realize, that she was not in control of her actions as previously thought. Her emotions, like Lee were controlling her and decisions and behaviour were being made based upon these feelings.
