Thank you for the update. It does explain her behaviour. It truly is unsettling to realise that you were holding on to a  past destructive relationship whilst in another, as well as realising one was being held to impossible standards because of a past destructive relationship. I hope that she and Sulu can forward in their relationship.

P.S. I don't think Pavel really meant any harm. I think he just hasn't accepted the reality that Sulu has matured and isn't the same man he was when they had their adventures.
