Hum I was very very suprise. This story wasn't at all what I was expecting. Just getting into the shoew and I really enjoyed it. Love what you did with Gwen & Arthur. The dream made me thing of hidden, secret dessires. Great Stuff. Look foreward to more.

Wow that was so beautiful and creepy.
The idea of Morganna burning in the future and sending her thoughts back to people who have no idea of the context and then allowing the love and ownership she likely maybe doesn't deserve is very unique and oringinal. I say that it's likely she doesn't deserve the burning because I'm still not sure if Morganna will be villain of the story as she is in the Medieval stories.
Merlin as the spark who literally starts the whole thing that leads to her death is brilliant, as is Gwen as her heir. It really sheds a different light on future Arthur/Gwen and why they'll never work out. It's not Gwen Arthur belongs to but Morganna. Again, creepy and beautiful.
I'm going to go back to the image of Merlin as a sorcerer starting a fire that burns another sorceres. Just be existing and being a pawn of fate and destiny he commits the worst crime against one of his own.
Great stuff, Black. I'm going to be thinking about this one for a while.

Reading your comment, I'm thinking that I held too much back with what the echoes were really of. In my mind, they weren't the same person though I was trying to be ambiguous about which voice belonged to who. But Arthur's was actually Gwen, Gwen's was Arthur, Morgana's was herself and Merlin's was supposed to be a mystery.
It worked in my head *blushes*
My favorite part was the Morgana/Merlin stuff though. I'm really interested in seeing where they take her character and how that dynamic could shift between her and Merlin from confidante to adversaries.

This was all kinds of fantastic. :) Seriously, I think I ship them a little more just because of this fic. Nice use of all the characters, especially Morgana, I loved her dream sequence. But of course, those last moments with Gwen/Authur were my favorite, just stunning. I actually got chills when I read this Black.
