Sequel to Martha's Tears. After an accident in Engineering causes major head trauma to Scotty, Charlene notices some disturbing changes in her boyfriend's behavior.

On an away mission to map a deposit of dilithium crystals, the crew is taken captive by a super powered being identifying himself as an ancient aztec deity. When Uhura is mistaken for his reincarnated consort, Uhura must take drastic steps to save the lives of her fellow crewmen that could forever alter her relationship with her commanding officer Spock. Summary: When stuck indoors with auxiliary power during a raging storm on an away mission on Thelos IV, Uhura suggests some interesting games to keep tensions under control.
