Title: Chapter 16: Chapter 15

Hugh is a smart guy.  I feel for him and Evangeline pretty much lied to his face about her reaction to Todd.  Have to wonder why she doesn't do the decent thing and just let him go so he can find someone that can make him happy. 

 Still on the Tangeline train by the way.  Nice update.

I'd like to think that Evangeline is lying more to herself than Hugh when it comes to her feelings about either Todd or Caleb, though she may be intrigued and attracted to them, given her history and being a slayer she is very clear that she doesn't want to be involved with either of them, she kind of has a war raging inside of herself I think and it won't be getting any easier.  I think Evangeline does love Hugh and I hope that this comes across in my writing, I think she would like nothing more than to be with Hugh and have a normal life but she struggles with knowing that she will never be normal.  Evangeline has pretty much always been alone other than Layla who's on the other side of the ocean so I think she is selfishly hanging on to Hugh because he's the only one that she has and next to Layla he knows her as well as anyone (save the all the vampire stuff).  Obviously there's a price to be paid for trying to have your cake and eat it too though. . .

Sorry BlackMa, the tangelines are going to step aside for a minute though because it's Caleb's turn to bat hahaha.

Title: Chapter 19: Chapter 19

Well you know I loved this backstory section.  Like how we got a peek into Evangeline's head here as well.  Caleb and John's interactions were very real and I love the moment Caleb discovered his father's secret life. Great, great writing.

Author's Response: Thank you BlackMa, for reading, reviewing and your encouragement when I was hitting a brick wall, can't say that enough.  Evangeline is going to have a lot to consider when all is said and done I think.  I had fun writing John and Caleb's interaction because I really wanted to use that as an opportunity to contrast them and distinguish Caleb as his own man with an interesting history.  And I enjoyed writing another slayer scene!

Title: Chapter 20: Chapter 20

Nice.  Loved all the mythology behind the vampire clans.  Mahdokht was very cool and girl you put the magic word in there.  "Lilith."  (Please, please?) Anyhoo, so the plot thickens and we've got a clue as to what might go on in Llanview.  An army of the dead eh? Nice.  Great update, and waiting for more. 

Author's Response: Thanks!  I worked really hard on hammering out the mythology combining real life folk lore with my own made up stuff.  Mahdokht is a very interesting vampire, and in upcoming chapters you will see her role more clearly and how she mentored Caleb for a specific purpose.  So yeah the point finally emerges, it only took 20 chapters hahahaha.  Battle lines are going to be drawn and Evangeline is going to have to decide whether she is going to stand on the sidelines or pick a side and by the time Todd's story is revealed her choice won't get easier.  Thanks for the review and stars!

“Are you going to have sex with me Ollie?” The corners of his lips turned up in a smile, he pulled him towards her and held on to her.

“We’ve got a lifetime for that Kylie.” He shut his eyes and within moments they had both drifted off into a deep sleep, as though neither of them had slept for years, as though subconsciously their bodies had known that they were missing.

Title: Chapter 6: Strangers, Friends and Lovers

I really liked this chapter.  The conversation was very well done and I really liked that part about not quoting Shakespear.  LOL.  Claudio is so right--it's almost tragic to read Oliver's denial.

Hahaha I'm glad you liked the line about Shakespeare, it seems like something an artist would say doesn't it?  This, just so you know, is a major departure from the film, but as I was watching the film and the story between the original two characters I wondered how it was that no one told them that perhaps they weren't being realistic, I think everyone needs a friend that gives them a reality check every now and again.  I also wanted to shed some light into Ollie's past to provide some understanding of maybe why he is the way he is and how he ends up where he does.

Title: Chapter 16: The Beginning of the End (breakdowns and breakthroughs)

Okay, great chapter.  Man I missed this story and I'm going to be sad when it's over.  You've done an amazing job.

Second, I loved the interaction with Alex and Kylie.  Seriously, all I coudl think when I read it was how much she deserved a guy like that, who obviously respects her and wants something for the long hall.  It's like she's just realizing that loving someone doesn't have to hurt all the time.

I'm glad Ollie is finally getting a clue.  I think he needs to do a 12 step of sorts where he makes amends for all those people he's hurt in some way over the years. 

That said---while I'm still rooting for Alex, most of all, I'm rooting for a happy Kylie.

Thank you so much BlackMa, that means a lot!  It feels really good to put this story to bed but it's also a little sad for me as well.

Yes Kylie is learning that there is more to love than drama and pain and Alex is a guy that really helps her to feel more young and alive and hopeful.

And Ollie is getting a clue hahaha only took a near death experience to get there!  He still has a ways to go but I have faith he'll get there.

Title: Chapter 17: Down the Rabbit Hole

Yay! That was a great ending.  Loved, loved, loved every chapter.  Kylie and Ollie's talk was great.  I figured Mya's death didn't happen exactly the way in his book but it was still heartbreaking all the same.  I think my favorite moment had to be Lalita jumping down the rabbit hole. It was beautiful.  Well done greatodin and I though the ending was absolutely perfect.

Title: Chapter 4: Chapter Three

*sigh* I love this story.

The library sequence was great.  Sam having the two shadows made me very, very nervous. But as the Doctor said, why did they leave him alone?  This chapter was classic for Dean. His Ruby convo was funny as hell.  Loved Martha's quick thinking and the addition of the pictures was a great idea.    Update it soon. I demand it.

Title: Chapter 6: Chapter Five

Okay once again in fangurl heaven.  Love Donna and her family.  Her grandfather getting his good hat had me LMAO.  And poor Sam.  He really is clever.  He's just no Martha.  Loved Jack's entry, it was classic. 

Bobby and Deans argument over the snoring made me LOL.  Then there was that sexy ass kiss with Dartha.  Yummy.  I hate her and I love her all at once. 

Finally, those closing scenes with the master in hell are always creepy perfect.  I LOVE it.  Great as always!

Oh, I geek out everytime I write this. I always wonder if I'm a bit too enthusatic though, if I'm jamming too much from the shows in one story. Especially Doctor Who, I'm in overload right now I think.

Bobby and Dean could argue all day if it were up to me, I love those guys. And I kind of hate Martha for the kiss too, and she's in my head.

I love crazy and I love the master going crazy. Never underestimate the power of the creepiness....

Title: Chapter 7: Chapter Six

First off, thank you so much for updating.  I didn't realize how much I missed this fic.  Love Martha's snarky exchange with the demon and Dean is so gone on him some Dr. Jones.  Bobby is a favorite as always and kudos for the Harmony Vamp pic.

Jack had me LMAO, whining about being sent to America.  I'm thinking he's going to show up when Martha leasts expects it.  That line about the Doctor asking him to let her know he's coming was just so...awwwww.   Sam is great and it's interesting he chose to stay with the Doc rather than return to his brother.  Someone's getting dazzled by the Tardis I think.  Donna is awesome as usual and her line about information being shared before "the bloody recap" was funny as hell.

Excellent.  Just bravo.

P.S.  Gordon's back? Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Thanks Black, I missed it too. Which is why this last chapter when on a bit longer than usual I suppose. Got a bit excited.

Wanted Martha to adapt to the Supernatural world a bit, get a little physical and snarky. Glad you like the Harmony pic, I miss Buffy something awful.

And Jack just wants back in the TARDIS, it's what he always wants I think. And I wanted to get a bit more in The Doctor's feelings for Martha in this one, so I'm glad you enjoyed that. Sam loves the TARDIS and it's starting to love him back, like a real companion.

Title: Chapter 12: Chapter Eleven

Awesome chapter. Best one yet. Love that the gangs all here. My favorite had to be the awkward meeting between the Doctor and Dean.  Loved the Doctor calling Dean on hi shit and Dean giving back as good as the Doctor dished out.  Ruby's possession by the Master was creepy goodness. Loved it.  Can't wait for the finale. I know it's gonna rock. Great job.

Title: Chapter 8: Seven

Well, that definitely was an eye opening chapter.  I'm not an Abe fan by any means but he was dead on with what he said to Lexie.  I'm all for getting yours but what kind of mother doesn't answer her phone when she's got a small kid out there somewhere because she's too busy getting her rocks off?

A Dimera apparently.  (And she killed me with that stuff about Sami and EJ-how obnoxious was that?)

It is good that she finally admitted that's what she is and she's never going to be anything else.  I'd be interested to say how hard she fights Abe for Theo, seeing as how she's pretty much thrown all that out the door.  And Phillip---well we know what he's concerned about. 

Little Phillip---who's very, very happy right now.

Oh, you killed Sonny.  Brava! I do like Carly, but she can annoying so it's all good she was in the limo.  Jason and Courtney are under a rock I hope.  So AJ just didn't call Keesh? Heh? Kinda cold.  I can see why Julianna isn't to keen on meeting him.

Hi!  For the purposes of this story, Sonny and Carly needed to be gone.  LOL!  Now, Jason and Courtney are another matter.  LOL!  Yeah, more will be explained about what happened with AJ, but that's what Julianna knows.  Her father didn't care about her mother, so, too bad for him. *grin*

Oh nice.  So Julianna's friends with Michael but doesn't know their shared history.  How cool.  I like your Michael so much better than the one on the show.  He was a little ass (excuse my french).

Yeah!  Their history/circumstances worked for what I wanted to do with this story. :-)  LOL about Michael.  I know what you mean.  I felt I needed to make him a lot different than how he's portrayed on the show, especially since he's older in my story and there were certain things I wanted to have happen. :-)

Oh, this chapter got me choked up.  That description of Keesha and AJ seeing her for the first time was just so sad.  Nice to see AJ doing good things with his life.

Thanks! :-)  Yeah, that was a hard chapter for me to write.  I still wanted the *idea* of AJ and Keesha to be there, but I also knew I had to try to portray Keesha realistically for the story to make sense.  LOL!  Luckily for me, the characters cooperated with what I wanted to do.  LOL!
