Fixing a Broken Me

Baby, please...Break Me
Break Me
to the whittle of my bones;
to the core of my being;
down to the fractured pieces.
Break Me down to the forgotten dreams and fragmented nightmares.
Break Me apart from my recycled fears that have kept me set in my ways.
Baby, please…Break me, Break me, Break me
Baby, please….Make Me
Make Me
more than the shade of my casing;
more than the wary of the unknown;
more than the cruel imperfections.
Make Me more than the course I’ve taken, my words left unspoken.
Make Me more than living in the comfort of old scars that have kept me appeased.
Baby, please…Make me, Make me, Make me
Baby, please...Fix Me
Fix a broken Me so that I can reevaluate my choices.
So that I can find courage to dispose the comfort of dreaming;
So that I can awaken to the heaven of living in my season;
So that I can end the cycle of my fears calling forth the falling tears.
Fix a broken Me so that I can see reason in changing a belief that has used Me.
Fix a broken Me so that I can grow and break the rest of Me.
Baby, please…
