I call it breaking someone's spirit😢 I grew up in foster care and my spirit was broken over an over again😢 It wasn't until I was adopted that my spirit felt hope and happiness, I had no self-esteem😥😥 now my self-esteem is very high an I finally feel like I have a voice.
