Interesting turn of events...I'm not sure I like Marta very much either. What tricks does she have up her sleeve?  Let them get back together on their own accord-find their own way back together without her manipulations.  Ugh.  I can't wait to read the next chapter.

Hopefully seeing Ellie will help Nick. Can't believe he was doing drugs. That's horrible. Can't wait to see what happens next.

Surprised that Nick is doing drugs. He's really taking Ellie's leaving badly. I agree with Ellie that she should've talked things through with Nick before leaving. I'm not sure going back on his home turf is a good idea. It would be best for Ellie for them to meet on neutral grounds AWAY from his family, especially his mother. Moms has now gotten it into her head that Nick needs Ellie and she'll do her best to deliver Ellie to him, Ellie be damned.

I hope that Ellie is strong enough to withstand the onslaught she's about to encounter when she goes back. Marta seems the type to do things BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. Hopefully, Nick nor Elllie will fall for her machinations. I think whatever Marta comes up with will test who both Nick and Ellie are as people and as a couple.

I LOVE THIS STORY!!!!! What the hell? Marta has a lot of freaking nerve! First she treats Ellie like Sh*t, now she's calling in a favor. She so much as told Ellie to her face because of her race she was a thrid world citizen incapable of being worthy to carry her sons child and his name. What a B*tch! But I guess once that son started ruining his life, she started to reevaluate and realized the prejudice witch she was being was not necessary especially compared to her sons well being. I still do not like her at all. I wish Ellie was not going back. I mean I know Ellie still loves Nick and that is to be expected, but once she goes back I know she is not going to have the strength to keep her resolve. even if she wants to. Marta has now all of a sudden made her mind up that Ellie and Nick will get back together whether it should happen or not.

I know Nick loves Ellie but he is not ready to be with Ellie yet. Is this how he is going to handle all the problems him and Ellie may face - to start sleeping with other women, doing drugs, drinking just because things are not going according to plan? He's still to immature and his pride is beyond belief. Ellie will be the only one hurting the most in this. She is the innocent one and she does not deserve Nick's family trying to bridge her and Nick together when they still have issues to take care of before they even think about becoming a couple.

There is also what he does for a living. Ellie has some real decisions to make and I guess Marta thinks if she starts treating Ellie like a daughter, Ellie will forget everything and do as she says. Wow, that's a trip. I hope in all that is holy, that Ellie does not get back involved with this family too soon. As I said what happened to Nick was unfortunate, but he did all of this himself. This is not even close to being Ellie's fault. Who wants to be with someone who self destructs when sh*t gets hard, I am sure Ellie doesn't, loved be da*ned.

Ellie deserves better and until Nick can show some sign that he is man enough emotionally and mentally, Ellie should do her little visist that you are making her do and move on. It is going to be a war of wills in this next step in Ellie's life. Marta is certain that Ellie will crumble under her plan to get Nick and her back together, but I hope Ellie surprises them all and never faulters. As Ellie said, Marta and that family thinks it is all about them. Hello, Ellie has a job and responsibilities of her own, not that they care and that right there should cause some pause.

Anytime a person or people never think about what you may want or what is going on with you at a certain time and wants you to stop everything for them--most likely that is how your whole relationship will be with them. Ellie will always be left to pick up the pieces and that will turn her into an old woman fast. Her love for Nick will eventually fade to bitterness especially if he does not change and continues his irrational behavior when they face problems. Goodness I hope Ellie sets Marta straight, she doesn't have to be disrespectful at all in doing so, unlike what Marta did.

Nick is just gross!!!!!!!!!!!  And for him to go back to his ex is soo cliche.  I'm so disappointed. I really hope that Ellie will find someone else and never ever talk to Nick again. Sleeping around is disgusting. And it seems that Nick has no problem doing that. Ellie deserves someone better than that. But Ellie needs to move on already. She made her choice, she was the one who wanted out.

Say it isn't so, she didn't leave Nick after he got released from jail?  I can't take it, I for them to be a happy couple!!  Oh , woe is me!!!!

well that was nice as we no f/m both handle things totaly different that's what these 2 R doin I think now they've B N apart 4 awhile they need 2 talk b/c both made mistakes N the relationship she did what he was afraid of but not 4 the reason he thinks he let her go not he needs 2 put things N perspective think of gettin her bk b/c both R miserable.

She loves him to much. I figured he would be the one to break and call her first.

Aw thats so sad. I know what Nick did was bad but I hope they can talk and work things out. Can't wait to see what happens next.
