I hate that Ellie lost the baby. I can't believe that Nick was that mean. Ellie is going to have to show him she means business. I wish her parents would come visit and take her away to think. Ellie has lost her privacy and her life. Nick should act like he wants her and she is important. If I was Ellie I would go home and think or leave and get a room where he does not know where I am. Keep it coming

All the stress of finding out her finances family does for a living combined with the stress of the shooting and Nick getting arrest caused her to have miscarriage. I don't think that she will be sticking much longer for Nick, he's going to have to choose it's either his love for her or his families business. This is so sad, I want my HEA!!!

I think Ellie needs to leave...if they are ultimately going to end up together (it seems that way?) then they at least need some time apart. He is in jail now but not for long going by what was written in this chapter. While reading this chapter, I kept thinking "Poor Ellie." Everyone knowing what was going on except her...the cold way he ignored her until after his brother/sister in law left the meeting room of the jail...him telling her to "take care of it." I mean I figured he wasn't going to be happy with the situation but *gee* I didn't expect him to say that either. They ARE engaged...but maybe she will call it off. :-0 Now she has to go through her loss alone. Yes, poor Ellie indeed but I won't continue to feel any sympathy. With your warning though I think Ellie might not be so willing to stick by him until....guess I will have to wait and read to see how you are going to play this...

I love elle and nick i really do but i want her to leave him. If it was just her then I would think differently but she has a baby to worry about now. Nick's lifetsyle is to dangerous and he will never be truly honest with her about things.

I have to say that I believe Nick would have waited until after the wedding vows before he even let her know a hint of what of his family did...glad she *pushed* the discussion because I'm not so sure he would have told her before they married. I am loving this story. I hate she has to go through the pregnancy alone. I understand Nick is stressed but I don't like how is cold at times but I know it goes with what he does. I feel sorry for Ellie having to deal with bodyguards and guns. I think he really needs to consider her feelings. I would love for Ellie to sneak away for a week or so and make him work for her. I believe she needs time to think. Keep it coming.

Enjoying the story. Ellie must of had an idea about Nick's family as she took the news well. I wonder if Nick getting arrested is going to change her opinion. Is the bodyguard's name Harold or Herald?

well she finds out she's pregnant after the drama was going 2 tell him after his friend got stablized now he is then he told her what & who his family is but still didn't tell him why? now the cops have put him in cuffs. can't wait what's next.. Okay, Did Nick know that would be arrested? If so why didn't he tell Ellie? She's pregnant, that should help his mother get over her displeasure. I am glad that Sam is going to survive. Now that Ellie knows what the family business is she should realize that she is safer with him than without him. Great update and I am glad that Nick got a little nookie before he was arrested.

Nick is still hot and sexy but that lifestyle is very dangerous and if she stays the police will be watching her too. Being pregnant is really complicating things. She has a lot to think about. Love both this and the previous chapter!
