Very interesting beginning, can't wait for more.
I have so many questions, like, why did they want Aria to become the mate of such a high ranking male? I would think because she's a half-breed they'd fear polluting the bloodline yah know.
And why does Oren hate her so much, is it because she's a half-breed or because he wasnt allowed to marry his paramore instead, or is it because he just didnt want to get married period?
Ugh I hate not knowing...ah well hoping for an update soon.
