I like this story! Gwen was definitely the highlight of the show for me, and I enjoyed the Arthur and Gwen pairing.  Nevertheless, Gwen didn't get much screentime or development, so it's nice to read this interpretation. Gwen's inner strength and quiet resilience is a large part of what makes her my favorite character, and you're doing a good job with displaying that in the story.

I also enjoy the details you share - the bread, the leather thong, the milk, the emotions of the characters.  Really makes me feel as though I'm there, and I love being drawn into the story like that.
