You don't know how much I want to read more and really want you to go on writing this story! Thought, be careful about the names (a Vanessa appeared mid chapter).
I love the casting and your title is interesting because we don't know if it will be a fatal obsession for Alaina to Brian or a fatal obsession for Brian to Victoria if she wants to quit the marriage.
Don't let us hanging on this appetizer and finish it please !

And all that deep sighing on his part doesn't make me feel a lick of sympathy for his ass. He has a supposed committment to his wife, that chick doesn't. yeah, she's a ho, but nobody made his ass sleep with her and now he's so chicken shit that he'll continue because he supposedly has so much to lose. Funny how cheaters only think about what they have to lose after the fact. gah.

PLEASE CONTINUE......I love it!! Poor Victoria. I hope she finds out and leaves Brian and sooner rather than later. Victoria is the victim because she is being cheated on by her supposed to be loving husband who works too much. Brian is the victim so to speak, because he is being blackmailed by his boss, but still that does not make up for him screwing another woman day in and day out while his wife is at home trying to figure out how to reach him. Yes, Alaina is a *itch and knows exactly what she is doing. She knows that he will keep this up because he wants to keep his wife and career. She knows she has him over the barrel. Wow, I would HATE to be Brian, lol.
All that said, coming from Victoria's point of view, I would leave his *ss so fast he would not even know when it happened. He would wake up one day and I would have just vanished, so to speak. And he has been cheating for months!! In his and Victoria's house and their bed.....breathing in... breathing out....lol! Yes, I want Victoria to know it all and it doesn't have to come from Aliana. Maybe she could just catch them in the act without either knowing and then gracefully leave. That's what would throw him for a loop. Maybe a line asking, 'Was she worth our marriage?' and then a smily face. (I'm bad) Yes, he would not know where I was for at least a couple of months and even if he did he would not so much as look my way. I'd make sure of that. So, Brian said he would die before he lost his wife, well.....

Wow. I love it and I want to keep reading it! Please, please, keep going on. This story seems to be ahead to a great direction. I can't seriously believe that he is cheating on her when he claims he loves her. Victoria is bound to find out eventually and it's probably going to be the end of their marriage, especially if he is not the one that is going to confess his wrongdoings. Can't genuinely wait for the next one.

I wouldv'e empathised a bit better if he hadn't slept with her because of the boss but it was because of the article! Ooooh this has got me mad! But I love this story!! He doesn't deserve her. UGH, well there goes me liking Brian. A few cliches at the start but i'm a sucker for cliches. Though to be honest i think you should have held on to the tid bit of info that Brian is a lying, cheating sac of crap just a bit longer....unless of course it is your intention to set him up to be a character readers won't find sympathy for or at least in the beginning. Either way i'm hooked. I'm looking forward to your next update!
