Her knight in shining armor. AJ is a mess a good mess. She might as well let him in because he isn't going anywhere.  I didn't find it cheesy.

That was one helluva filler chapter as you call it.  A. J. is quite blunt, but I think Esther needs that. She really does live too much in her head. It is quite clear that she has never experience any passion. But she's about to get it with A. J. and in spades.

This

"...made him want to drop to his knees right in this alley and give her a licking she’d never forget"

and this

"...but I will certainly turn you over my knee and spank your hot little ass red."

had me rolling. You really know how to turn a phrase.

[laughs] you have no choice but to love andrew. he is straight forward and doesn't hold back . i definitely like him and believes that he can help her. i didn't think it was that bad for her that she was also cutting up her wrists. i hope she seeks for his help whenever she needs it. and i`m completly sure that he's gonna help prove that theory wroing (the can`t have kids). her ex & even the timing may not have been the correct timing. everything happens in GOD's timing. maybe A.J. can help change things. update again soon. man i felt like i was rambling. crosses fingers that my predictions are correct.

Esther's parents really jacked her up, has she ever gotten any therapy or is it just the medication?  Maybe A.J. can help her heal?  A.J. is loving him some Esther but Esther is too screwed up in the head to even deal with a relationship right now.  She's attracted to A.J. so maybe she'll get some help.  Great chapter!!

great update.  They are going slow, however, A.J. appears to be aforce to recon with. She will have to face her past.  Why is she not in therapy.

My heart goes out to her.  Her mother was cruel and probably still is.

Loved it....I loved how nervous she was and I love love AJ. It was to funny and cute to see how he was trying to make her talk to him. I love how protective he is with her. The kiss was the bomb! Please update very soon

Awesome, AJ is from the other story. I am really liking him. She did open up for him, I just hope she shares a lot more the next time. Once everything is out in the open and she sees how AJ will be there to support her, she will be more open to being unlady like in public. lol

Your wirting is so real. You're making me feel what Esther is experiencing. You make me want her to become whole. Those parents of hers are completely toxic, no wonder the poor woman's internal dialogue is so soul destroying. She needs A. J. and badly.
