Why did she stop him, I'm confused. It's obvious she has feelings for him, and obviously doesn't know how to react to them. Well maybe she does, but she just did not go through with them.

Lol. I could feel Chris' frustration when I was writing it. That is the reason why he makes that awful comment about her needing someone else to christen her car.

Wow, Allegra that was all kinds of wrong!! I am really not liking that heifer, playing with Chris's feelings like that. Great chapter!

I know right? I can totally hate her for a while. But then, at the end of the day, she basically told him that she overheard it plain and simple and her vanity has been wounded. Although he is a good piece of meat, Allegra doesn't want to want him, if you know what I mean? Hot and everything, she wants to keep her distance. She doesn't need any complication in her life, and Chris seems to be a calamity.

I especially liked this chapter. We got to see both of them with their defenses down for the most part and just letting the attraction have it's way. I was irked with Allegra at first for stopping the action but I think it was for best. Chris was/is still in that hit her and quit her frame of mind but in the end, I think he's finally starting to realize that she is destined to be more to him.

Chris doesn't want to admit that he likes her not only on the physical level. He's just using an excuse to cover for his feelings. I guess that's pretty obvious and pathetic from his part. However, he needs stability and security so he's costantly repeating to himself that he just wants sex and then he'll be okay, back to his life. Obviously, that won't happen. At the end of the day, we've seen how Allegra has a huge impact on his life. Yeah, he's attracted, but his feelings go much deeper than that. I'm just happy that he will see the light. You'll see that in the next chapter.
