I still love thsi story and stalk it for updates several times a day. Well now Ms. Allegra will know what it feels like to be left there. I cannot wait for the next update with healed Chris and hurt/ashamed Allegra.

Thank you Chris!! It took him long enough to put his big boy underoos on and tell Allegra the truth. She's selfish and at this point undeserving of his love. Although, why would she think that Chris was joking when he put his heart on the line? That would be totally out of character for him and he's exhibited none of the traits of a player. The sex was inevitable and good for Chris. He was able to show her what she's missing out on and then leave. He does need to work more on him and his self esteem, as does Allegra. I'm still wondering about Allegra's relationship with her mother and what's the disconnect there?

She didn't want to believe that what he was saying was true. She didn't want him to love her because she knows well that she cannot cope with the idea of loving someone else that is not her late husband Blake.
I think it is pretty clear that she loves him after this last chapter. However, Chris won't see it as we know he just don't notice stuff like that.
About her mother...she loves her to bits, however, her mother never approved of her marrying so young and they have been a bit estranged since then. When her husband died, Misaki has been trying to get her to open up to the idea of dating again to no avail. She even tried to set her up with some good men but Allegra just hated it all.

I just can't believe the audacity of Allegra, she had the nerve to be hurt that no one would tell her where Chris went. After you broke his heart, how lame is it to say that she thought that he was joking! Heifer please!!!! Then she's throwing these questions at Chris like she has the right. Allegra makes me so angry, Chris you are better off without her. So Chris and Kristen's father is feeling some guilt about his treatment of Chris? I don't believe it! Great update, you know that I am greedy. So more please!!

Richard Fitzwilliam, aka Chris' father = Bully. I hope he is really genuine. I don't want him to hurt Chris ever again. I guess it is pretty much impossible for them to build a father-son relationship but you never know.
Allegra is now showing her true feelings for Chris. She still cannot bring herself to love him, even though she clearly does, but she acts like some sort of wronged ex-girlfriend. Hopefully she will get better, because I am starting to hate on her as well.

Very interesting twist...great that Chris is handling Allegra better this time around. tho now i wish for some peace between them. nice character developments for the others, particularly interesting for Isobel and Kirsten....

Interesting. Laurence and Allegra made up, at least I think they did since she was in the wedding. Not a smart thing to do having sex, with all the anger they have with each other. Besides her husband dying, there has to be something else in her past that has her acting like this. Great update.

He tolerates her. He didn't forgive herr for hurting Chris, and if it were for him she wouldn't be in the wedding, but because Allegra is also Giselle'ss best friend...you know what that means.
I don't know about something else being the cause of her acting like a bitch. We'll see about that.
