I've really enjoyed what I've read so far. That last chapter was very sad to read. Ooh, i just wanted to slap allegra for making him feel the way he did. But I'm glad that he's now taking ownership in his life now. Please update again soon.

Are you trying to make me cry, the flashback to last moment that he spent with his mother brought a tear to my ear. I am glad that helping other people is helping him heal. I am glad that his father is reaching out but I am doubting his sincerity, so make him wake until you're ready Chris. Allegra can go to hell in gasoline draws wearing pork chop necklace for the Hounds of Hell for all I care.

I guess it's fair considering that I cried when I wrote it. Chris is great and I love him, but I think that's pretty much clear. Allegra...she'll get better.

Wow. His mother died literally saving his life. His father subsequently blames Chris for her death and became verbally abusive. He sounds like he is truly trying to work thru his issues while giving back to those who are so much in need. This was a great chapter and I thank you for updating even though you have so much planned. I'm just going to have to struggle thru the next 2 weeks until you're able to update again. :D

Chris is finally growing up. And that's probably the only thing I wanted him to achieve. Allegra might be someone in his future, but at the moment I only want him to be happy with himself. Next chapter Chris will be transformed more outgoing, more fun, but still oblivious to everything that goes around him.
I'm going to try and write the next chapter on paper so maybe I'll be able to post it sooner as I would have to just copy it.

Ashna, is so sweet to offer him the comfort of someone he could call mom. Dad would have done the same thing if he had been the one with his son, when the accident happened. We protect our kids, I do not understand the hatred of his son. He abused him to top it off, it would be hard to forgive him. I would have a long talk with him, however and get everything off my chest.

I don't think I'd be able to let go if I were Chris, but I do understand that we love our parents like there is no tomorrow. Ashna is great and we might see her again in the story....or not. Still trying to make up my mind on that.
