Aww, sorry for living in your favourite city in the World. I hope that knowing that I cannot wait get out of it for the next three years of my life when I'll be going to university (whether that is Oxford or not I still don't know) :D

Thanks for a great update. I think that Emma trying to get better is great. It seems that she wants to be the woman that she used to be. Not so reliable on George. Also I was happy that she had the epiphany. She needs to stop blaming herself for the loss of their baby. I also wanted to say that you should write your story the way that you envision it. I will still read it even if I disagree with how Emma moves forward with her life. I like the fact that this isn't neccesarily a HEA story but a story dealing with real hurt feelings between two people that said that they would love each other until death they do part. But life happens and sometimes it doesn't always work out the way that we hoped. I guess for me that is why I am team Emma for drop kicking George to the curve. However, it seems that Emma disagrees. That is ok too. Thanks for a great read. I can't wait to read what happens next.

Although I feel sorry for George, I think that he still needs to pay a little more. But then again, can you blame him for his stupidity? I mean he was oblivious to Emma's feelings in the past. I think that he really has difficulty trying to put himself in someone else's shoes. Is that a crime? Maybe.

I hope that they can move beyond the pain. I am all for Emma dumping George and she needs to make him move out. She needs to take control over this situation in stead of going along to get along when inactuality she is in despair of losing her husband and best friend at the same time. Emma won't jump Taylor's bones and she won't allow him to jump hers. She's not ready for that kind of relationship. She loves George too much, and although she really likes the guy I don't think it would work. Maybe in the future, but definitely not now.
Yes, I agree, she depended too much on him and frankly what I want her to do now is to become to some extente emotionally independent. If that means not being with George so be it, but I really hope they sort it our because I love them together. They were really happy before the mess. In fact, I'm gonna write about their life together before they divorced.
London is lovely, however I'm going to leave the city when I go to Uni next autumn. Can't wait because I can't take the traffic anymore, but I know that I'll come back once I get my degree. If you even come to London, let me know! :)

Emma is broken, and it's George's fault. He has caused her to loose faith in herself and in the decision making abilities. I am sucker for HEA's but George you might not get one dude. I always love your reviews. They left me up all the time, especially today because I have to do my hw and I procrastinated all day and my life is ruined and my teacher will hate me tomorrow.
Anyway...after going on Urban dictionary to find out what HEA meant (thank you for extending my lexicon) I have to say that I agree with you. Emma is almost damaged goods. She doesn't trust him nor herself. That's what happens when you use someone that would give everything for you. George is an idiot. Maybe he realised it too late. His final epiphany won't be able to help him that much. And now it seems that he has competition. How's that going to work? I'm really worried about what might happen next.

I like Taylor okay, but George and Emma just fit. How can she hop into another relationship without resolving her issues with George? Don't make his one of those, "She hopped in the sack with another guy, and suddenly realized that she really wanted what was at home" stories. You have already managed to let George steer clear of sleeping with other women. Let's not give her a torrid affair that she is sure to regret, when she patches up the tatters of her marriage, and her family. They have a real chance at building something together that is so much stronger than what they had before. Don't ruin it for them, before it has even begun.

Don't worry. That is not going to happen. She won't be one of those 'oh, I' moving on today, but tomoroow I'll realise that I can't move on because I love you' women.
However I have to contest whether they'll be able to build something together at all. It might be too late....perhaps? But they have a chance and George has to play his cards right if he wants his woman back.

This story is the sequel of Illusions: The End.
Emma is on the brink of depression and she has lost herself. George finds it incredibly guilty to cope with the guilt he feels for causing her to lose her psychological equilibrium. Will they be able to get back together, or will Tyler be the best person to pick Emma up and make her feel herself again?
Interesting start to the sequel. Depression is a illness that is truly hard to over come no. But I am wondering if Emma's depression really has anything to do with her relationship to George or if there is something more to it.
I thought they guy Emma was seeing was named Taylor, unless Tyler is someone new.

I'm not a hundred percent certain about the cause of Emma spiralling into depression. Surely her relationship with George played a part. She started thinking irrationally and having negative thoughts. She still keeps up the front, but she's not well. She's changed. She has no self-esteem.

I wish that I could feel bad for George but he created this situation and he broke Emma's heart. Maybe the therapy will help open Emma's heart to George. George should also work on Darcy, if he can when his son back I think that he can win Emma back.. Those are big if's as I am not sure that he is truly deserving of Emma.

I agree with you. I'm not particularly sorry for how he is feeling, however, what Emma is going trough doesn't only affect George but their children as well. The last thing I want is for Emilienne and Darcy to suffer.
I don't know if George will ever be able to get Emma to trust him again. Emma trusted him since she can remember and he broke that trust.
Maybe he doesn't deserve Emma, but she will be the one deciding whether he is worthy of her or not.
