Title: Chapter 2- First Impressions

This story is so intriguing. I really like it. I like the fact that Rory isn't Mr. Perfect, that he's struggling with a condition himself. Only question I have is if he was in love with Mallory how come he didn't continue to keep track of her after the accident? I get that he felt guilty, but it just seems kind of odd that he didn't try from afar to stay up to date on how she was doing.

Anyway, looking forward to finding out how exactly Mallory lost her sight and how Rory was responsible for her accident. Update soon!!

Guilt plays a huge part of Rory's problem. He altered her life tremendously and felt that , despite his feelings, she was better off without him in her life. Of course,  hindsight's always 20/20 and  seeing her again...well, it reignited those feelings. It will be interesting to say the least.

OK, I am loving this story because Rory is a man that has an illness that no matter how hard he tries to push it down. A person with a case of OCD and anxiety the two are very hard to control no matter how many meds he takes. And the fact that the one one that he loved/loves is back in his life so to speak its just going to get worse before it gets better. Hopefully Mallory and Rory can help each other heal. Looking forward to learning more about the two, their relationship, and what their future holds.

 I definitely wanted to show how two people could be so different, yet so alike.  Both Mallory and Rory have a road a head of them. It will be interesting to see their journey.

I'm not surprised to find out that Rory would have something like OCD because it sounds like his parents probably highjacked his life for their own purposes. Its probably the only thing he could "control" so to speak. Since Declan is so much younger than Rory, he probably never understood what was going on with him until after the accident. All that other stuff was just a facade.

This chapter was almost painful to read because you really captured some of the physical manifestations of OCD well.

Thanks!  I did some serious research on the matter  and found it fascinating. Rory's life is encompassed by struggle but the one bright light is Mallory, whom he hurt. It will be interesting to watch this unfold. I'm glad you like the story!

Rory you cost Mallory her eyesight you are the last thing or person she wants in her life.  I am glad to see that hie is suffering for his actions.  Declan has become Rory's biggest supporter who would've thought that!  More please!!!

Title: Chapter 2- First Impressions

brilliant chapter. I like that Rory is not all perfect. But that's part of the issue, isn't it? Does his parents know that part of his affliction is because of their expectations of him? My heart hurts for him. Yeah, I know he can be an ass, but still. And what of Declan? He seems to be somewhat of a caretaker for his brother. Reluctant?  It'll be interesting to see if Declan still has any contact with Mallory.

This promises to be a story full of turmoil. I go back to Rory, he seems to be more hampered by his psychological issues than Mallory is by her physical issue. I can tell that I'm going to be very invested in these characters. I already am. Damn fine job, Chica.

Thank you so much! I love characters who are complex and have so much potential. That's what I see for both Mallory and Rory. They have obstacles to overcome and despite their outward appearance, inside, they're a ball of confusion. It's going to be an interesting journey!
