I think she means well, but doesn't always think things through.. we've all had to deal with someone like that at some point. As for Quinn..he's not half bad lol. I'll try to be more descriptive in the coming chapter(s) ;)

Hell yes so far so good! I luv murder/detective mysteries/thrillers that's written fabulously and makes me think...Veiled Threat is one such story! And it's got my mind whirling... he was there wasn't he!? The killer was there I know it but where? Who? The guy with the perfect view, or someone else - perhaps the well-dressed, slimeball, serial dater? mmm. And why do I feel like I'm watching a movie with different scenes- seemingly random yet very much interconnected?
The scenes with Quinn and his knew partner Marco- I mean- Marconi Quinn is such a snarky badass, luv him already- were on point. It had all the elements of the ruggedly-handsome, jaded, detective; the pretty-boy, know-it-all rookie; and the geeky lab tech. Add in the riff with the blowhard boss and the DA whom I think may have an eye for Corwin, the serial unsub, a string of murders and the quirky female-lead and you've got the ingredients for a fab thriller.

Damn fine story. Keep it coming. Can't wait to see who some of these people are. There's a bit of humor too, which will be handy when it gets more dicey with the murders. Perfect mix.

The news broadcast was very well-versed, realistic. The villian has a bold, narcissitic persona yet it's subtle; he's a menace to society...a predator in fine clothing. ooo luv it! Great start!

This is well written story, I love how you separated the dialogue. I love the relationship between to the two roommates those two are funny. I think that I will love Corwin!!! Great start!!
