Things do seem bleak for the moment.

I agree with Rory encouraging Vic to talk to Scarlett.  He does need to hear what Scarlett has to say and in turn say to her what he needs to about her actions.

However, I do not think Rory should be pushing him to work back to being besties with Scarlett as if what she did was simply a matter between the two of them that can be forgiven and forgotten with time.  Scarlett made a deal that has endangered most of the population of an entire country and all the Y Class.  If she can commit so great a betrayal just to make her and Vic safe in spite of what it would do to countless others, what is to stop her from doing something similar in the future if she thinks she has a chance.  That speaks to a level of selfishness that is criminal.

I have to wonder if the reason Scarlett confessed is not in large part because she didn't/couldn't get what she was promised or got it but couldn't/wouldn't take it because Vic was already gone--rendering her 'reward' useless.

In any case, having a best friend is worthless if trust is broken...and it is majorly broken here.  If Scarlett knows Vic so well then she would also know that he would never have been able to live with whatever she bargained for once he found out what she had done to get it.  And had he never found out, she would have been lying to him for the rest of his life. Either way, these are not the actions of a true 'best friend'.

This really should be a movie on the screen because it already is one in my head.  Excellent story!  

Rory has Grown dramatically. She went from being so self centered to not only steam player but a leader. I still do not trust Scarlet and Turk but I got my eye on them. Rory and Vic are so sweet together but I want Vic to start stepping up again. Has he abandoned his position as one of the leaders. Thanks so much for updating so frequently! This is one of my favorites.

Scar is a treacherous ho who needs to be put out of our misery!  Vic is just heart broken, he trusted that ho and loved her lije a sister whike Scarlett coveted what wasn't hers his heart. C-I-L-L Scarlett! I was channeling a little Eddie Murphy. This is some good sugady!

How in the world can Scarlett redeem herself.  She's put the whole world in danger.  I hope Vic and the crew can come up with a plan.  Great update!

The loving was good that want to repeat it and often. What is going on outside and us Turk involved? FABULOUS!!!

How beautiful they are together when they both find the courage to let go and reach out for each other in spite of their fears/insecrities.  Lovely.

As for Turk, he's going to be one of those folks who thinks his abilities makes him 'better' than the common folk and also better than the 'lesser' gifted, isn't he?  His casual dismissal of Scarlett's betrayal as confusion and fear is beyond blind.  She was not just co-operating for survival, she is an active participant in experiments that are KILLING fellow Y-Class people.

I have a feeling that there is going to be an internal battle to between Turk and Vic and those that follow them to parallel the external battle of the Y-Class vs the government...
