Missy is right about the feelings situation, it is just that Rory does not know how to say it.  With everything tnst had happened, the timing nevet seemed right.  Fate is a strange thing and the chips will fall where they will.

what a turn of events.  On a good note, Missy and Nate are safe.  As for scarlett, her choice is clear.

It took me some chapters to get into it. I actually started to read the story twice. I was really annoyed by that Turk/Kyra business (the way they behaved toward Rory and all) and at the same time I wasn't really feeling Vic either. But then, when the Isis stuff got revealed, it became way more interesting than the usual stuff. Being a huge x-men and x-women fan it was a very nice twist!!

I liked the explanation of the genetic evolution, it wasn't too over the top nor far fetched. I knew Knight was suspicious from the start and was a bit surprised Rory didn't questionned more how they were able to have so many high tech stuff and how the all thing was financed. That is the 1st thing I thought! Also I didn't really get how the antartica base was connected to the main one ruled by Knight and how/why it was self-ruled by Y people but I liked that it was not some regular top down hierarchy thing, but kind of more democratic, with collective discussion and vote, even if Galia was the main leader and there was some status/power shift at play.

The characterization was really good too, even for the secondary one. Loved Missy, and liked Nate, even if him "caring"/falling for/feeling something for Rory was a bit on the nose... I ended loving Vic so much, especially when he showed his vulnerable side. Loved, loved Rory: i liked that she was not the "typical" girl, that she never turned into helpless "damsell in distress". She kept a teeny bit of an attitude, but also opened up and strenghthened and developed her powers. Was a bit surprised/disapointed by the all "true" persona with long wavy hair and blue eyes, but that is me nit picking a bit. Also, I love her being the heroine and kicking ass and it made sense that her blood would be the cure, but I am not feeling having a Jesus like/ Chosen one Rory, saving the day and humanity and all...

All and all it was a very coherent storytelling, with consistent characters and some welcomed diversity. Keep up the good work!!

Yeah she has two series actually. ?.one is more teen geared but the main character reminds me of Rory. It is called Red handed and the two are adult that remind me of the relationship between Vic and Rory...they it is called the Tales of an extraordinary girl series. The first is called Playing with fire and the second is  called twice as hot...not IR but still amazig! And pardon my typos. Typing from my tab with one hand. My dominant hand is injured lol

This is a eye opener and has tied many loose ends together in a timely and rational order.  Appearences are clearly decieving and it appears that they have alot in common.

Writinglass, this story was beyond wonderful.  It was well written and should be on the big screen.  I am sure that this would be a best seller if you ever published it.

Of course we want a sequel.  Take your time, but do update it eventually.
