Well, I'm not sure who's running Natalia's life except Natalia. She's not speaking to Barbara or her parents because she basically chose Anthony over them, she couldn't care less what Richard thinks, and she had no intention of following Erinn's advice and ending things with Ant. The plan was to talk about their issues, but things went way awry. Where Anthony is remains a mystery that will be address in the near future.

I love these two, I really do but sometimes, well more like a lot of the times I want to bang their heads together and yell, COMMUNICATE!! There's little worse than being with someone and still feeling alone. But old habits are hard to break, but one day soon I hope Natalia and Anthony get on the same page, but things are still unfolding between them, their relationship is still new and has its kinks to work out. So I'll do my best to be patient ;-)

I tried to review earlier but this website was being funky. Anways, I'm SO happy you updated. I've really missed this story.
Richard Sr's. confession about still being in love with Natalia made me screw up my lips, lol simply because he seems incapable of loving anyone but himself and I doubt he even really likes himself at the end of the day. Anyone too busy finding faults in orders while overlooking their issues, I would say doesn't have it all together and really are projecting, but I'm no expert. I just hope Natalia doesn't buy into his proclamation considering she's real vulnerable right now and its so easy to go back to what you know when you've hit a low point in your life, even if what you're returning back to is the worst thing for you. But she's strong, so I'm not too worried in that particular area. Then again, you never know.
I don't blame Anthony for wanting to escape and also missing Natalia. He's just been given the ultimate out, but he has real feelings for her that he doesn't want to abandon. Leaving Natalia wouldn't be as cut and dry as Rich Jr, who is a real trip, is making it out to be. But I did cackle when Anthony said Rich Jr and Barbara should hook up. Those two together would be ratchet and yet probably entertaining together.
I'm really thirsty for Natalia's insight on her situation with Anthony. She was emotionally distant with him on the phone, downplaying what's going on with her, treating him like he was inconveniencing her. Does she share Rich Jr. opinion on the matter that she and Anthony should go their separate ways now that there's no baby?
Off to read the next chapter to hopefully find out. Awesome as usual!

Richard is a special case. You'll get a little more insight into him in future chapters.
Like you, I have a lot of sympathy for Anthony, and also Natalia. They're both struggling with emotional pain, old and new, and trying to find happiness in their very untraditional relationship.
Natalia's insight into the Anthony situation is coming up in the next couple chapters, along with what she sees for their future.

Anthony has seen the light and is coming home! i swear my heart nearly stopped when i thought he slept with that woman - Heady, lool! - but he didnt. i understand Anthony for not telling his family the truth about his time away. i mean the whole situation is MESSY...but i dont know. his lie kinda reminded me of Richard and how he used to lie to Natalia & his family - i just hope this "little" lie doesn't bit him in the a** later on...

Anthony did recreate the trauma that ended Natalia and Richard's marriage, and unfortunately, it is sure to come back and bite him in the arse. I'm with you on liking Rich. He's dysfunctional as hell but so unabashedly himself, at least when it comes to Anthony. You haven't seen the last of him.
Richard has three kids, all sons. Rich and Thomas are from his first marriage with Theresa, and Anthony is from his second marriage with Mercede.
Don't be surprised by anything Richard does. He's decided he wants Natalia back, and we all know he isn't above using unscrupulous method to have what he wants. Stay tuned, because the angst and drama has just begun.
