Though I understand her reluctance to 'feel' for Anthony and thus develop a relationship with him, and her emotional rationale to the contrary...Natalia- and I say this with love - is working my last nerve! Life is too damn short to allow the what if's and the naysayers to be the captains steering her journey!!! Richard's betrayal was the catalyst that drove her actions into the consequences she now face but should that obliterate the life she could be enjoying?! Everyone will have an opinion to which they will surely express to keep her wallowing in guilt but will it stop them from having a life- hell no! That beautiful man is offering Natalia comfort, security, himself...if only for the moment. It's his choice! He choosing her! People meet the quote-unquote "proper" way everyday: they become acquainted, they date, they marry, have a kid or two and along the way, they're still miserable or they're good at portraying the Cleavers' facade. Trying to do the right thing isn't always doing the right thing for you. Natalia better recognize before she wake up twenty years later alone, life done passed her by while everyone else lived and everything she worried about no longer matters.

Well I have come to the end of my JJax day with my reading of this story thus far. Well done once again. I like so many of your readers would love to take out Barbara and I am hoping that there is more to her bad behaviour than just her being a frustrated and manipulative woman. She is not proving to be the good sister and human at all. I for one would be tempted to go beyond the stage of insults and use my changing pregnancy hormonal levels as an excuse to do something extreme. What an absolutely maddening woman!
Anthony may be 25 but he is proving to be a responsible man and this is good to see. But I keep wishing that the Natalia who blew my mind at the start of this story returns to take full control of messy situation. And I know this is not the Chamber's choice but that Natalia, though vengeful, had spunk and obviously knew what she wanted and that was to seduce Anthony and get her own back. I guess the 'mistake of her pending motherhood is making her hesitate and she seems to be waiting for the hammer to drop. And while I am not sure about Anthony's 'fuck them' attitude for those closest to them who don't support them (with the exception of his father and Barbs of course) I would love to see the original Natalia reemerge and take back her life, warts and all. As Anthony said, they are involved and it's time she give their situation a chance to evolve.
Btw I loved that last scene between Anthony and Natalia and between now and the next posting I will be praying that she does say an explicit yes, so that at my next reading I can do a happy dance.
I cant wait to read about the reaction of Anthony's family when the baby news drops. But then again what Richard say when she was his secret wife... LOL.

Something tells me that Tony will have to do all of the fighting. Nat doesn't seem to be able to fight for anything. Just look how she lets that crabby sister of hers run over her. She talks a good game, but damn there must be a way for her to stop that Evilean from coming around.

I knew she was gonna run, they always run. I'm so glad that Anthony put his foot down and that Natalie stopped fighting the basic feelings. I can understand how she is hesitant. His father did a number on her and if I were to just casually hear about this mess I would be disturbed and judgmental. A 38 yea old woman pregnant by the son of her ex husband...that's a lot to take in. However, just because the outsiders don't understand, it's not our business to understand. I just hope that Natalie isn't as selfless as Joss. B&B nearly gave me an ulcer (mind you I still re read it faithfully...I don't care about my health). Something about us Texas women, always trying to sacrifice our happiness for the common good. Sometimes I wish we could say F**K society! But then that wouldn't be as entertaining. I was getting so frustrated with these two crazy kids. Yeah, this is a bit of a cliff hanger, but one I can live with. 'cause whatever happens, the kiss has happened. I love that she did it.

Well, lookie here. Look who's back giving me heart problems once again. And I love it! Anthony and Natalia I think are going to be the death of me. Clearly there is some piping hot chemistry between them that they are too busy tip-toeing around, and for obvious reasons I completely understand. However, they playing, lol.
I understand why Natalia would, in her way, push Anthony toward Candance because her scheme of getting revenge on her ex resulted in her now being pregnant and leading to Anthony uprooting his life to be closer to his child. She doesn't want to be alone, yet at the same time doesn't feel she should have any feelings for Anthony considering they didnt come together under usual circumstances, and she probably feels a tremendous amount of guilt. I get it, but dang girl if you like the dude, which clearly you do, just say so and see what happens.
And Anthony...he's stepping up and being respectful, and the jealousy he feels toward Richard still attempting to, I guess, spoil Natalia by sending her a Christmas gift is interesting to say the least. It's like part of him wants to claim Natalia for himself, but at the same time he realizes that he really has no right to, I suppose.
I just want to mush their heads together but I'm glad Natalia has taken the reins on that. FINALLY!!! Where things go from here, only you know, but I'm sure it will probably be bsuiness as usual. Natalia going out of her way to avoid Anthony who is busy working a million different jobs. Loved this update. The UST, the angst...top notch as usual.

Wow, ok you call that a mild cliffhanger??! Ugh, I'm dying here. I love that he flirted with her, kissed her on the cheek and then put the ball in her court. I also love the way she took a real kiss from him, so the next chapter should be hot!!! i guess we'll see. The Candace situation has me going, I mean he did make the choice to stay home on NYE, but he's been seeing her at the bar. Also, he lied about it. loved their gift-giving scene. love dialogue between the main characters as well, especially when she expressed her thoughts of the man- the person he is and her appreciation of the father he will be. I almost jumped for joy when he placed his hand on her tummy (how far along is she now...sixteen weeks?). But I'm confused as to when Anthony divulged his pending fatherhood to Rita. When did that happen?
