Take your time loving the story. It is developing nicely and I don't mind taking a break from the scag Debbie and her rejects.
I feel so sorry for Steven. I wish that all would find out about the Whitfields heirtage Ruby would love to kill herself to find out she bore children from a black man and laid with a black man that passed as white.

What kind of parents let their child go missing for weeks then think to look for him. They are disgusting & unfit. I'm glad Harim has Steven he's thriving on love eating & is happy. I hope it's some kind of way they can move but the problem will still be there. Someone needs to turn Kathleen & her husband in they need to be locked up for child neglect. Little Savvy loves her cousin & he loves her to.

I just wished their punishment (the k special needs group) no offense of special needs kids since they are ten times brighter than them! Will get to them because they take things too far...now they are worried about their son?! At least he is being taken care of and feed and watched unlike them who chooses alcohol beverages and beatings and brainwashing over everything else!

I'm going to have to side with March on this one that's about six or seven chapters
you skipped over or read through too quickly. Hiram and Camille's relationship is now stronger than ever Steven and Savannah aren't taking from it they're adding more to it. Just because they aren't going on a date every weekend or romantic getaway allthe time doesn’t mean the love is not there. In the situation they are in that wouldn'tbe possible or realistic

Now Hiram and Camille have two young children that need their love and their devotion. Will they ever be able to enjoy each other? The two of them have so much pulling for their attention.
I will be glad when Hiram and Camille can get a brake from all the problems they are facing so they can concentrate on them and their relationship. It would be great if they had moments to just enjoy one another in peace. Go out on a good date. Have a romantic weekend just the two of them. Talk about marriage and having a baby between the two of them. I'm sure Camille would want that.
Hiram's and Camille's lives have been focused on giving to others at the expense of rejection, hiding, racism, financial problems and other sacrifices. It is time for them to see a little light.

I'm going to assume that you just skipped over Chapters 20 through 26 because those chapters covered a lot of
Hiram and Camille comforting, relaxing, and getting to know each other more. They celebrated the holidays with
Savannah as well as her first birthday in fact Chapter 23 was the one everyone was pretty much anticipating when
they finally reached that level of trust and made love to each other. I even let my readers know how the story will
unfold in the chapter SECOUND ACT and eventually I'm going to get to Hiram seriously talking about marriage soon.
As far as Savannah and Steven goes here's the thing the main plotline of the story was Hiram and Camille getting
through a year of co parenting Savannah. It was to see if Hiram was a good father which obviously he is; Hiram
didn't expect to fall in love with Camille or in vice versa it just sort of happened naturally. Hiram dosen't have a heart
of stone you know was it so bad that I made him want to help Steven? the boy adores him and he obviously needs
to be taken away from his parents who are just abusing him. Would you rather the eight year old stay in the hellhole
he was in or be with Hiram and Camille?. The two of them don't want Steven and Savannah
growing up the way they did and you know how that went. If anything all of the struggles they're going through is
making them grow closer and thier realationship stronger.

How will Hiram protect his family from the klans men? So many of them against one man and now that he wants to protect Steven as well, they will put more enery into finding them and get rid of their little family. That child needs to stop saying that N word, someone as to tell that it is not right to call people that!

Hiram needs a back up plan to keep his family safe. At the same time I don't think the klans wants the police or fbi checking up on them. However because of the hate Hiram's family have for him, they will probably try to get Steven back to keep Steven from talking.
Social services are involved now with Stevens and maybe charges will be made against Steven's crazy parents. I sure hope so. Anyway a case needs to be made against Steven's parents for child abuse.
