I loved reading this story. Here we have two people facing rejection from their parents and others in society. Through this rejection, they are finding love for one another, which is going to be a building block for their future and their daughter's future.

Little Savannah will learn from Hiram and Camille in her later years about the power of love and how love can meet challenges head on.

I can't wait for the updates to see how this family is going to face the challenges.

It is definitely time for Camille and Hiram to experience some real good blessings. Hopefully as time pass, Camille can become the doctor she desires and Hiram a CEO of a chain of auto garages or something.

As for the Baxters, hopefully they will need a doctor for a specific need only  Camille services can provide.nwant that be a turn around?

The Baxters have rejected Camille because of her color. You know, "You reap what you sow." Well, it  is now high time the Baxters reap rejection big time. They think the are accepted in society because they are high yellow😝 SOCIETY can play some dirty tricks on you, and it is not always about the color of your skin. Let them go broke and see what happens. I am sure there are some people in their town that are of the same color but are not accepted because they are poor!

Let's turn the table around for the Baxters!!!!

Her family is trifling, sad, low down ridiculous.  I honestly can't blame the kids so much because hell look at the mother and father of them.  I think the best thing for Camille was being put up for adoption because if she would have lived with them, they would have made her miserable every day of her life and she wouldn't be the Camille we love now.  Everybody is in our life for a purpose, we just need to figure out what it is God is trying to teach us.  That isn't always easy but it is a necessity.  The best comeuppance for her family is to realize, no matter how "light" you are, you are still a black person in America.  Now there are many ways that can be shed onto this family from being addressed as the N word or being harrassed but they need a wake up call.  But Camille and Hiram, love it.  Now the question becomes what the hell are those witches up to now in Hiram's family.  Oh, would love if Hiram was awarded custody of his nephew.  People never have a mind of their own these days.

Wow!  That was really deep. I can't believe her biological family, but sadly, ppl used to think that way and still do to this day. I'm glad Camielle have ppl in her life who truly love her for who she is. All thins happen for a reason. As hurtful as it was for her, it helped bring her, Savannah, and Hiram together. 💖

The sad part is there really are people like the Baxters out in the world. 

The Baxters needs to fall on hard times and need  Camille & Hiram ( after they win the lottery or a rich relative hooks them up) to bail them out. Their A$$%# need to suffer. I just saying. Love Hiram and Camille!!!

The Baxters' still haven't learned a darn thing. They preach a form of self hatred. There no better than the Klan.

The Baxters are rotten to the core. I hope nothing but bad befalls on that family. Camille is better off without them but after all Camille and Hiram have gone through, can they hit the lottery or something or inherit lots of money and do good for the commuity while the Baxters crash and burn? I think it's only fair to allow Camille to see their downfall and knowing the Baxters, they will probably never be ask for forgiveness but I'd like them to regret what they did to her. Uhh, they make me so mad!!

I had to say something,  medical school comes after 4 years of college after she takes the MCAT. Nurses don't go to medical school either. Did Camille want to be doctor when she was younger?

I really hope that if the Baxters come to Camille because they need her help, that she will show them the door just like they did to her. If it wasn't because they need her help, the wouldn't have contacted her. I know that Camille is sweet and that she has a good her. But please, don't make her tooo naive or too nice and that she will end up helping them. Let Camille ignore them and kick them out of her life if they come back. Like seriously she is not a saint. Nor does she have to act like a desperate girl who still wants her parents to love her. Her foster parents opened their door for her and gave her all the love they could. Since she was to dark to be the Baxters daughter, then show them that she is to dark to to help them too.
