Well, I gave this story a chance. I just don't understand why every chapter has to shove this 'color' stuff down our throats. It's redundant. And as a result, I don't see any character development. I agree with some of the others that not only is the story a little offensive by now, but it does seem unrealistic in some ways. Smh.

This was a goo one, I felt Hiram's fear when he that the klan had came and took them away. 

I wish Hiram would be more direct and tell Camille he's attracted to her. Seems like that would get her wheels turning that he desires her. The cat and mouse game can be a little drawn out.

Ooh that dream was harsh, but it was the catalyst for the next step in the relationship. I think Hiram is falling in love with Camille, and is willing to do anything to keep them out of danger. Your writing deserves more praise than what I can give you! It is GREAT and INTENSE! 10+ stars!

You  scared for a minute until I realized that Hiram waa only dreaming.  Yes, he kissed Camille!! Savvy is getting more precious with each update. More please!

Hiram is really coming into his feelings. I hope he can break down Camille's brick wall. The beginning scared me a little, whew. He is such a doting father, really liking where this is headed. Hopefully Debbie and tragedy can be avoided

I am enjoying the progression of this story. The beginning was too realistic, glad was only a dream.

So sad, I feel for her....the sad thing is we still are going through the same thing in 2014!
