Wow, what a fantistically written story. I have read some published stories which aren't even close to half as good as yours.

How very contradictory of Jeremy to accuse her of behaving like she was raised with some sort of manners simply because he is a Harrington, as opposed to actually being a polite person. Only to then list his last name as the sole reason a teacher wouldn't give him less than a passing grade. Oh, really, bro? Cute or not, the dude is pretentious, condescending and just entirely too up his own ass. I'd have had him escorted off the grounds, would have taken him down a peg or two.

I don't know how I feel about this petty beef Ms. Birchman has with the Dean. It's trivial and she is supposed to be an educator. However, Junilee is a bad-ass and I've grown rather fond of her.

Anyhoo…

Once again, I'm really digging the story.  It’s moving along quite nicely.  I love the rapport that has developed between Alicia and Jeremy.  He’s turned out to be a cool dude. LOVED the scene where she discovers his artistic talent.  He has more in common with his father than I think he cares to admit. (I hope his evil stepmother doesn’t become preggers, she almost seems like a gold-digger.) And since Miss Regina’s teasing Alicia about Jeremy’s skin tone, what about her French vanilla admirer?  One can’t help but love Benjamin.  His nerdy wit and nervous chatter is charming, not to mention the guy is cute!

I just started reading Heroes and Thieves today and I must say I'm impressed.  I admit that I prejudge stories with ‘high school’ themes and teens as the lead characters and often pass them by. However, the characters in this piece have depth, the storyline has meat to it and thusly the narration and dialogue is very well written.  It’s a journey into the prestigious and yet it’s still grounded somehow, realistic.  Anyone can relate to those years where everything seemingly inconsequential is dire and nothing of importance matters.

Not so for Alicia and yes, even Regina.

They are intelligent young ladies who have goals for achieving a successful future, Gina being gifted albeit with attitude endears her persona to me…I like her a lot.  Great job on transitioning cast back-histories and scenes. Which leads me to Jeremy…dude is cocky, I’ll give him that. And cute, can’t leave that out.  Alicia’s smitten already and doesn’t even know it…yet…poor girl doesn’t have a chance! lol

Benji and Jeremy, it seems to be the start of a beneficial friendship. Showing the contrast between Jeremy's relationship and Alicia's relationship with their Fathers was a nice bit of the chapter. I enjoyed the clearcut differences between the two, but you can also see that neither of them gets along entirely with their Dads. It feels like Alicia's Dad is pushing her toward Yale, which is a brilliant college, but if you're going to Yale for medicine than it should be because you want to be practice medicine. If she enjoys dancing, which it seems she does, I wonder if she shouldn't be majoring in that.

Eh.

That moment between Jeremy and his Dad was one I didn't quite understand but I want to. Oh, I almost forgot! Gina is so damn rude! Lol, I get it; she didn't want to tutor in the first place and of course she doesn't want to like Bejni, but damn, woman!

A-ha, so Regina is going to be doing the dozens with Benji. At least, that's what I'm hoping for.

Regina was so short with him. I mean, sure he managed to blunder his introduction, but he introduced himself. Give the boy some points. Plus, who isn't into Shia? He's gorgeous, but apparently I'm bias; I loved him in the Even Stevens days and I've been told he wasn't "cute" back then. I watch the show now and he's still a cutie.

That confrontation with Vanessa in the cafeteria, I don't know how I feel about it, I cannot decide. It felt like something was supposed to happen, but was it supposed to go down like that? No clue. Regina reminds me of a very close friend, someone that had to learn not everyone deals with problems the way they would and that they could not make them do so.

This was a great update.I love the build up between Jeremy and Alicia. They are so darn cute. He needs her as much as she needs him.

Well hello Sweet..I'm so glad to see that you ddn't abandon this great story! I missed it. To see that Alicia and Jeremy go from reluctant classmates, t forced chemistry partners, to evolving good friends, and now potential lovers, is a great recipe for an everlasting relationship. But of course with every relationship there are tests. But you promised some lovin first...lol Please not too much longer:)

Aha, so Alicia and Darryll once dated, as well as his new squeeze, Vanessa, used to be friends with Alicia and Regina. Okay, I see things have gotten quite a bit messed up. Blame it on the Alcohol doesn't actually work as a valid excuse, eh? Who knew, lol. Regina is all about kicking butt and taking names I see, I like that. I know more than my fair share of women with her outlook on life. I cannot wait to see more of Jeremy. Blue eyes, I'm a goner for 'em.
