i'm glad that they cleared the air with a lot of their issues. still a work in progress but at least it's in progress. umm i want to see how amaris' oldest sister acts when she finds out julian is a millionaire. i mean she already 'uses' amaris, or assumes amaris will fit the bill for things i wonder how this is going to go down.

LOL  I'm really going to be 'over the top' when Amaris takes Julian home.   You'll going to be LYAO for sure! OMG!  Can you imagine him going to the projects and how they'll behave.  LOLOLOLOL!!  I think about the projects here and how some of my relatives act from time to time.  I'm going to enjoy that and it'll be comingup in the next chapter. (But I doubt if I get to it today because it's close here at work and I'm working 12 hours)

LOL!! That's because there's a reason people are the way they are.  I try to see the best in people, but that does not always work, even for me.  I've had people that were mean and abrasive and I just totally did not like!  Later I would learn things they had been through bit by bit and I would begin to understand them better.  I didn't always agree with their choices, but I understood why they were the way they were and so that taught me to be a little more sympathetic and not to just write people off.  I tend to incorporate some of my experiences in my stories.  Thanks for the review!

Lorilei Riley is a large black girl who was uprooted at age five when her mother marries and relocates to the small mostly white mining town of Appalachia.  She is the object of ridicule and scorn.  She immediately bonds with Micah Hamilton a young classmate who is also an outsider because of a large growth on his face.

Micah gets a chance at a normal life by having a surgery to remove the growth and Lorilei wonders as they both reach adulthood if Micah has remained with her out of friendship and loyalty or if a guy like him, could really come to  love a plus size girl like her.
