Title: Chapter 17: Climax

This was extremely rushed. I know you want to finish the story, but rushing through the action was not the way to go about. The story started slow, and now you're rushing towards the denouement. The climax, should have been when Amelle and Harrison first slept together because that was the build up from the beginning. The next few chapters should have been falling actions, showing how the affair was affecting Amelle's life, but you just skipped right over that...

Title: Chapter 3: Skinny Love

This is an interesting relationship. The scene was very tense. I liked it. I'm looking forward to reading more.

My only suggestion would be to choose a different picture of Daniel Craig, because he looks way older than his early thirties, which according the story he should be around thirty-three. He looks a decade older in the cast picture.

You can already see the hint of possessiveness in the chapter. I'm a little confused as to their attraction to each other. I get his for her, but I'm not convinced about her for him. I think she likes him, but I'm not feeling this all consuming love that would make her hurt. However, this is wonderfully written and I'm highly intrigued.

This chapter was a bit scattered. It didn't feel like a consecutive chapter just a bunch of vignettes. The scene with the parents was...interesting. Why is Tobias so concerned with protecting Serena? Ryan, the Hot Boy, is not a stalker or a crazy. It would break my poor heart. lmao

Fabian walking into her apartment was a weird. I mean, I didn't so much mind it, but Meka's reaction could have been slightly stronger...her outward reaction that is. 

I'm interested in the complex relationship between Meka and her mother. I want to understand why her mother didn't want her talking to her father.

I take it Fabian will not be taking Meka back to his father's house? Garrick told him everything in that house was his, so I'm assuming that if Meka returns she'll be considered his too. 



Author's Response: Truthfully Cholyn it wasn't as strong as I would have liked it either. Haha. But thanks for the honesty. I've been rougha! Fabian doesn't care. He is a suspicious little thing. Maybe he won't. But when Garrick said that you can see that Fabian brushed him off. you will see more of Meka's and her mother's relationship as time passes.

I can feel the danger coming off him already, without even knowing the type of man he's going to  be. Meka is an easy mark. I can't wait to see how this plays out.

I don't know why she went to the club alone and got wasted. It was such a careless move, and I hope Fabian points that out to her. 

I know Fabian is dangerous, but the character he oozes sex appeal and he was barely in this chapter, lol. I said it before, but I can feel the possessiveness rolling off him in waves. 

This story is quickly becoming my new addiction.

I didn't sink into this chapter as I have you others. It was a little confusing, and I didn't feel the intensity that Fabian's presence usually adds to the story. I also didn't feel her overwhelming need to obey him. Overall, the chapter also felt a little rushed. 

 



Author's Response: Hmm. About the obeying. You will see it increase. Her need to obey him as the story goes on. As he is more revealed. Confusing?... I really didn't want Fabian to be intense in this story. Maybe because you see it from Meka's point of view. I will try to make a couple of chapter's from Fabian's if that pleases you. Thanks for your honesty. :} I like the criticism. Haha. I wasn't trying to rush him but I was trying to get her out of Fabian's house.

You did a good job capturing Fabian's voice. I could tell that he was a foreigner. How old is he supposed to be? I'm a little confused, because his mother and father have been engaged for twenty years, and yet he is definitely in his mid-late twenties. 

The family dynamic is interesting, I hope to learn more about them. Fabian's going to be very possessive. He's already setting up rules and he hasn't got her yet. I knew he saw her as an easy mark. This is going to be an interesting journey one that Meka obviously won't enjoy.

I really enjoyed this chapter. I loved the beginning when you discussed how Tanya got to where she is now in her life. I thought the section had a lot o f heart. 

I lol'ed when Jaycee lost the match, because he got distracted by Tanya. I thought you did a good job of capturing the energy of the match.
