Amaris Manning was a woman that was over six feet tall.  Julian Arrington was just a little over five six.  They were attracted to one another from the beginning, but would it be a good fit?  She was sexually repressed.  He was sexually promiscuous. Title: Chapter 17: Chapter 14 So You Think You Know All About Me

Wow, she was raped and and didn't tell her momma.  Reverand got exactly what he deserved, although his death was to quick and not painful enough.  Pedophile deserve the worst death that there is.  Seleah needs to get help, counseling would help her.  She doesn't love herself and doesn't think that she deserves the love a man.  Although that doesn't explain why she is such a user.  You made those choices but you resent your sister for your choosing to sacrifice yourself.  This chapter was amazing and made me empathize a tad bit for Seleah.

Thanks for the review.  I have learned that everyone is the way they are for a reason.  Seleah does need some help.  As she says, she uses before others use her.  It's sad, but I guess it's her way of coping.

Daniel is the man,  Tamera is going to mess up  and not have Daniel at all.  He was wrong but so is she for playing with him like that.  I can't wait for Juilian to meet Amaris's family.  It will be hilarious!!!

Title: Chapter 30: Chapter 28 Reconciliation and Altercation

Why did Amaris invite that woman to her wedding?  After Mrs. Wilmington's reaction when she introduced her to Julian you would think that she would know that she was worthy of the invite.  Why is Selah acting like she doesn't want to marry Joseph?    You will change your tune when you get home and find that your house has been burgularized.  The woman is trying to sabotage her happiness.  Brenda is chapter is awesome as usual!!!!

Frances Wilmington had done a lot for Amaris when she was growing up.  She had been a good mentor.  Amaris had no idea that she felt that way about white people.  She never dreamed that the woman would come and start a fight with her mother.  Thanks for the review!

The cops didn't  search the house, he's on probation his room should have been just for gp.  Darrell needs to die, Seleah is going to be raped again if she's not careful.  I am so glad that Amaris and Julian have talked, I am glad to hear Julian's point of view, Kayla just messed everything up.   Her momma was crazy and that crazy rubbed off.  I love this story!!

That was sweet, Joseph is the man!!  Amaris, Julian and Justine are a beautiful family!!!  I am so glad that Joseph showed to help Seleah get rid of that fool Terrance.  I love Joseph's intereaction with Tre and Jamal, they need Joseph and Joseph needs them.  Maybe Seleah can pop out a couple more children!!! Title: Chapter 15: Chapter 12 My Actions Speak Louder Than My Reputation

Thank God, you had me worried there for miniute.  I am so glad that Jun finally came around, sometimes it takes almost losing someone to make you act right.  I so love this story, and I even love many of the characters.  Except for Selah she makes my teeth itch.  It seems that at one time that Paula had some sense and that she wasn't always a ho unlike Selah.

Paula has her abandonment issues just like Tam.  Seleah, welll she's just too into herself.  She needs to meet her match and I have just the man for the job.  LOL  I just have to figure out how I'm going to work that part in the story.  More to come soon!

It would seem that Joseph gave Seleah some food for thought, but we all know that she will ignore those words.  I love Julian he is such a good and he really loves Amaris to put up with her crazy @$$ family.  Maybe this week will allow Seleah to see men in a different light.  Maybe she will begin to see that not all men are users.  At least I hope so and I hope that finally decides to get some help to deal with being molested as a child.  SHe won't be able to move on until she does.  Her life won't improve until she does!!  Most excellent Brenda, you rock!!

Ah snap!!!  Joseph GOd gave you the sign that you wanted, Seleah fell right onto your lap.  I laugh out loud when I read that part.  I have to say this again, Julian is a good man, and so is Joseph now that he is not letting his guilt control his life.  Awesome!!!!  Please let Seleah open up to her family while she's there.

Damn Joseph, how waiting for Seleah to begin going to therapy first.  You just met the woman, and she is not ready to give you her heart yet.  This is so awesome.  I can't stand that Bernard, your father raped her as a child and you are worried about your momma.  Joseph should have stomped in his head!!

Joseph was just trying to show his commitment to her because he could tell that she thought that he was going to break it off.  He doesn't expect her to marry him right now because they both still have to learn about each other and deal with their individual demons.

Title: Chapter 23: Chapter 20 Rebuilding After The Storm

Seleah is thinking and that is a good thing.  I love the way Joseph with each interaction gives Seleah more food for the thought.  Joseph is a good egg, with each chapter I like him more and more.    I am starting to like Seleah a little bit more, but I just wish that she would quit pushing Joseph.  She needs therapy, as a matter Amaris does as well.  So awesome, even though it was short.  Enjoy your son's wedding, Brenda.

Tam's momma got some issues, not wonder she jumped from man to man that is what she knew.  Debra wanted her daughter to remain a ho just like her.  Kayla is certifiable,  how sick do you have to save a man's condom and use a sypring to impregnate yourself?  Amaris Julian is the man that you loved and he deserves your support in this situation.  The man was honest with and you are running away.  I am not liking Amaris very much right.  Julian has treated you with utmost respect and you turn your back on him in his time of need.  His relationship Kayla was over before he meet you, and he never treated you like a peace of ass.  So what is dealio Amaris?  Get it together, Amaris and stand by your man!!

Joseph is the man, Seleah let the man take care of yoi but do more for yourself. Take classes to learn a skill. Amaris you are tripping! Talk to Julian, don't shut him out. If you didn't want to coparent with Julian then tell him and move on. But if you love him like you say you do suck if you love him like you say you do then suck it up! Amaris has mixed feelings right now. She loves Julian and Justine, but she longs for time with just Julian and she feels that she can't have that. A baby only makes matters worse in her eyes.  They didn't even have a wedding night and she's feeling some kind of way right now, but she'll be alright.  LOl

Darrell got, "knocked the funk out!"  I love when I get the chance to say that line from one of my movies.  Julian and Joseph handled that, and so want Darrell to go back to jail.  Seleah it would seem to me that you want Darrel to get his ass whooped.  I know that I would but hell I am petty that way!!!  LOL  Brenda this update was much appreciated and enjoyed.    I will have to reread this again as I loved it!!!
