It's not everyday your best friend tells you she speaks to inanimate objects. Mahandra McGinty, cocktail waitress at the The Barrel in Niagra Falls, is sarcastic, witty and loyal to a fault.  That loyalty went only so far when her best friend Jaye Tyler confessed she had a special gift, the ability to communicate with objects around her. 

But Mahandra had a secret of her own.  A secret romance with Jaye’s brother  Aaron Tyler. Though she was convinced her friend had officially gone insane, Mahandra and Jaye’s friendship not only survived, but continued to grow stronger.
