I believe that old adage about a man's treatment of his mother being a reflection of how he will treat you. That's why I strived to have a healthy relationship with my son. In fact, I patterned Caesar and Avalon's relationship after the one that I have with my firstborn.

I know I am late to the game, playing catch up is not fun.

I would laugh if it wasn't true but most of us are just like her mother. We would lock the fridge instead of taking our daughters or sons for a walk which would be more beneficial to them. We want to help but just go about it the wrong way and the sad thing is we are usually in need of help ourselves.

I see I have been missing out on this great story and look forward to the many chapters you have written.

My question for Avalon is why did she get her child involved all of this illegal nastiness?  Subrina ignore that phone call and get your groove on.

I hinted at the answer to this a few chapters ago. It more or less had to do with family ties and financial obligations. Remember Avalon built her place FIRST. Blaine got Vickie to intrude upon her space by buying property across the street.
